I called my friends, Sarah, and Stella and told them that I wanted to go out tonigjt, of course they went a long with it, because I never go out anymore
We went out to a local club that's always hitting heavy on a Friday night in San Diego. As we sat there I didn't know where this night was going to take me. And then I saw him. His light blonde hair shined in the lights over head at the club and his ice blue eyes were so bright, I could see them half way across the room.
He starts to walk over to me, and my stomach started fluttering.
I didn't even know what to say, but I knew I had to talk to him. He was absolutely breath taking.
I finally mustered up the nerves to smile at him, which in return he grinned at.
He reaches me and begins to start a conversation.
"Hi, I noticed you were all alone over here and thought I would come and keep you company."
He was right, at some point my friends had ran off from the bar to go dance.
"Hi, uhm, yeah I guess I am alone. My friends are over there."
"So what's your name?" He asks with a grin on his face.
"Uh, Vanessa, and you are....."
"Tommy, nice to meet you Vanessa, would you like to come dance with me?"
Every part of me wanted to jump up and scream yes! but I gave him a small smile, and nodded my head. As we make our way to the dance floor he grabs my hand and my stomach does back flips.
We've been dancing for what feels hours and my feet are killing so I tell Tommy that I need to go sit down for a little bit. We walk back to the bar and we start talking, he asks about my job and I tell him I'm in home decor, and he tells me he's a lawyer, and then he asks if I wanna get out if here and go grab some dinner, and I just simply tell him that I'm tired and maybe we should shoot for a different night. We swap numbers, and I let the girls know I'm headed home.
On the way the only thing I can think about is this guy I just met 2 hours ago, and I'm actually happy that I met him.
