Chapter 1...
I grabbed my bags and took one last glimpse of my room. "I'm ready" I said to my maid as she frowned and helped carry my bags out of the room. "I'm going to miss this place" I though as I closed the big white door behind me.We walked through the castle to the limo waiting outside.i walked slow, looking at the wall covered with all the Kings and Queens of Chimapal. At the end, lied my parents and... me. However, I will never ben the one controlling the kingdom. After my parents assination, the council decided that they will rehost an election for a new king and queen, wiping my whole generation away.
Finally, we reached the end of the wall bringing me to the main door. Everyone aligned outside giving me hugs and goodbyes. The person I would miss most was my archery coach Jaramiah. Ever since I was 3, he had always been my second dad. I absolutely loved archery, and he was the one that taught me it. We basically have the same personality and interusts, and he was the last person that reminded me of my parents. Him and my dad were great friends ever since they were younger. Next to him, sat Bear, my best friend. He is a 6 month old gray wolf pup. Luckily, the place I will be going allows pets. I knelt down to Bear and picked up as he licked my face. Jaramiah and I smiled at each other. "I'm going to miss you," he said ashamed. "I just wish there was something I could do." I smiled and hugged him. I could feel tears about to come out, but I kept them in. "thanks for everything" I finally managed to say. We stood there for a few seconds before we let go. He handed me my bow with my arrows. The bow was passed down from generation to generation, starting with my great grandpa. It is metal and has beautifully carved Gold accents into it. The feathers of the arrows were from the Golden Eagle, a giant eagle that's nest is on the highest mountain. My great grandpa was the one that slayed it because it has previously killed dozens of people. After that, everyone looked to him as a hero.
I hugged him one more time, and this time I couldn't hide my tears. "I'll come visit," I promised. We let go, and that very moment I felt that my whole life was just flushed down the drain. I looked down at Bear, as we walked to the limo. A nice looking man opened the door for us and put my bags in the trunk. As I closed the door, i took one last look at the castle. This was supposed to be my home. The kingdom was supposed to be my kingdom. And now it's not, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

"Sir, where are we going?" I asked the driver as Bear licked my face. We both looked at him expecting an answer. He was silent. "Sir, where are we going?" I asked again, making sure he heard me. No answer again. I looked at him in the eye, but he refused to make eye contact with me. I sighed, and looked out the tinted window. All I see is trees. Maybe he's dumping me out in the middle of no where. I'm technically part of the royal family, could they do that?
I woke up to a sudden burst of light. I rubbed my eyes as Bear sniffed the woman that opened the door. "Look how big you've grown!" She squealed in excitement. "Um... Who are you?" I asked while rubbing my eyes. "Oh sorry, I'm Catlin, your mother and I use to be best friends," I looked up at her in shock. How come mother never mentioned her? Before I could ask, she helped me out of the car. "How long will it be?" The driver asked. Now he talks... "Won't take too long" she explained. She walked me inside, with Bear on my side. "This isn't your permanent home. You will be going to a boarding high school." She says as she poors me some tea. "And there's something we need to discuss." She looked at me serious as she handed me the tea. "This isn't a normal high school. You'll find that out there. You also cannot tell anyone that your Princess Sky. Not even your closest friends. It'll put you in danger, me in danger, Jaramiah in danger. You don't want to that to happen right?" She asks. I shake my head. "So.... We need to change your hair, find out ways to make you different from everybody else." One hour passes, and she claims to be done with the hair part. She turns me around from the chair, and I look in the mirror. My hair is blond. Completely blond. She also braided it down and stuck flowers in it. There was Lilies, daisies, and rose petals. I've never seen anything like this. It must be a new style for my new town. "Do you like it?" She asked in excitement. "It's beautiful" I say back. She then smiles and says " not done yet!" She turns me around and puts makeup on me and puts me in a cute school outfit. A short skirt with a white tank top and a blue vest. As I looked in the mirror, I didn't recognize myself. I looked beautiful.
"It was very nice meeting you" I say hugging her. Bear and I began to walk down the path back to the limo as she waved. The same man from earlier opens the limo door and closes it as quickly as possible making sure no one saw me and Bear get in. We took off in the limo. 4 hours later, the driver finally speaks. "We're here." I look out the window and see a cliff. What? "A cliff" I gasp. He keeps driving towards it. "No! Stop!" I scream. Bear growls at him as I begin to try to open the door. 5 seconds before we reach the cliff, and I scream and close my eyes. He keeps driving. A few seconds pass, and I open my eyes. I was expecting a drop. I look up from Bear, and I completely freeze in amazement. A beautiful castle stands behind a long bridge over a river. It is made out of gray bricks, and kids my age are walking to the castle in the same uniform I am in. "This place is incredible!" I explain in excitement. Guards stand at the metal doors of the castle. I quickly jump out of the car. The air is so fresh here. You can just feel the river beneath you. It's undescribable! Bear stands by my side. This is my new home. This is where I will live for 3 years. "Hello, I'm Haven" a soft voice calls out behind me. I turn and smile. "You must be Claire Everheart, I'm your student advisor."
