I never expected it to go this far.
I never expected everything to steer so far out of my control.
If you forget me I can die faster.

"Listen up Cyrus, if this happens again you know you'll be back in this chair again." The woman said, her ponytail tight and stretching the corners of her eyes back in a constant glare position. He knodded, his hair bobbing around his ears as if the curly locks agreed with him. He knew him and his hair would be back in this chair soon enough, though. They always ended up back where they started. Shifting his weight onto his legs, he got out of the seat and made his way sheepishly to the door. He felt the womans strained eyes burn holes into the back of his head, and he half expected his head to burst into flames as he left the room in obvious hurry.
Turning the sharp corner away from the office, his eyes met with familiar dark orbs staring back at him. He couldn't tell if his heart sank because of his fear or the visual fear on her face looking at him worryingly. She practically fell out of her seat as she shuffled to his side and took his hand in her small grasp, "What did they say this time?" she asked, eyebrows pressed together. "They said if i lose another patient I'll have to go back an talk to them again, and I doubt its about having another chance." He replied, voice shaking. The grip on his hand didn't loosen up, but her gaze did and she starting walking him out of the double doors of the building. "We'll maybe they'll give you a less insane patient this time." She told him, patting his hand as they moved towards his car. Cyrus sighed and closed his eyes shut tight in frustration, "I just don't know why this keeps happening. I shouldn't have to be responsible for losing 2 patients already," He opened his eyes and focused on the girl holding his trembling hand, "I'm starting to believe im the actual problem." The girl let out a laugh, her tiny frame laughing against his tall one and he motion alone took some grief away from the situation. "How is it you? You're dealing with mental patients here. They're unexpected, you're the most predictable person I know." She told him, and he let himself believe her for only a second. "Maybe you're right, Berry."
