Banshee and Human

Stiles and Derek went into the apartment  and where talking to each other rather rapidly and angry.
"Stiles!" Derek said in a loud booming voice. "I think it's time we talk about Lydia." Stiles was confused but he also had a feeling that the conversation was going to come sometime soon.
"Derek, I get it, you're dating her and I can't stop Lydia from being happy." Derek smiled, but then it soon turned back into a frown.
"That's the thing Stiles, she's not happy with me. She talks about you all the time. She never shuts up. She's just like you just smarter, elegant, pretty."
"Are you saying I'm not pretty?" Stiles said in a questioning voice.
"Stiles, I want Lydia to be happy, as do you, and both of us want her to be happy whether she ends up dating Theo, or Scott even, it doesn't matter, as long as Lydia is happy."
"Right, but one question, you think Lydia and Scott have a chance because if they do than I might have to have a word with Scott."
"Stiles, chill, Scott literally is tied between two girls. And one of them is dead."
Stiles tried to wince a smile as did Derek.
"Don't joke about Allison okay, we all miss her."
"Okay, so do we have this figured out? You talk with Lydia and try to see what is going on in her little, banshee brain."
"Alright." Stiles went in for a hug and leaned close to Derek, but he tried to push away.
"Get off me..."
"No, we have to have this moment and break the awkward barrier."
"There's no barrier between us, Stiles."
Suddenly, Derek could hear Lydia's pumps clicking behind the door. Derek tried to push harder away but Stiles wouldn't let go.
Lydia opened the door.
"What the hell?" Derek threw Stiles off of him and walked over to Lydia.
"I can explain,"
"Really?"
Derek didn't want to tell the real story about who he was questioning the relationship and went to Stiles for help so he made something up.
"Cora is coming home for Christmas and I wanted to do something special so I asked Stiles for help. But then when we finished with the plans Stiles went all weird and hugged me because apparently we have a "barrier."
Lydia was skeptical but continued into Derek's apartment, she let her bag down and went towards Stiles.
"Stiles, I'm with Derek, okay?" Lydia said sweetly, trying to make sure that Stiles didn't try to tug her away from Derek. "I don't want you to get hurt." She said. Lydia squeezed Stiles hand and went over to Derek.
"You should leave, Stiles."
"Okay, nice seeing you, Lyds." And so Stiles left in a hurry trying to dodge the awkward goodbyes.
"Do you think it's right? To just leave him? He needs someone to be there with him."
Lydia said, she was worried for him.
"He has Scott, he'll be fine."
