A Christmas Poem For You

Just once I wish people would care
Care enough to lie
I'd love to hear "you're beautiful"
Instead of "you should just go die"

A nice word every once in awhile
Would be nice, even if its not true
Or a smile directed toward me
Doesn't have to be felt all the way through

But not a person bothers,
They just tell me the truth
About how stupid I am and how much I suck
And how I should get to work on that noose.

Maybe I will, maybe I won't
Not like you'll ever care
You've been to busy thinking about
The gifts you'll get this year

I'll get nothing of importance
If anything at all
So have merry fucking Christmas
I hope you have a ball

As for me, I have a gift for you
Something you mention, a statement you've said
A noose around my neck? Now that, I can do
Not like you'll find me, but if you do, I'll be dead.
