You were the only female archangel . You were sworn to watch after one boy, his name was Adam Milligan. You tried your best but ghouls got to him, but staying dead was never the case when it came to angels. Adam was brought back, for one reason.. For your brother Michael to have him as a vessel. You tried to stop it from happening but your brother ignored your pleas. He said he was destined to fight Lucifer. Dean Winchester refused so Adam was the last option. You watched as the big battle went down. Sam dragged Michael and lucifer down into the pit. You felt horrible for Sam, you had grown to like the Winchesters, which wasn't a good thing to most of the angels in heaven. It seemed you betrayed them, just like Castiel, which you couldn't care less. You were going to break the rules once more.
You have spoken closely with Castiel about getting Adam from the pit. This started the long process of how to go about this without you getting caught with your siblings. It took a few months but you were finally ready to face the battle. You don't remember completely how you managed it. All you know is Sam Winchester isn't the only one who escaped the pit. You however were able to get Adam and his soul.
You take Adam to a safe house you guarded from Angels. You were the only angel besides Castiel who knew about the home. You made sure it had plenty of food, water and you even picked up clothes for Adam. You weren't really sure Adams size for clothing but you think you found them. It was a bit before Adam woke but when he did he panicked.
"Adam, hey shh. It's okay you are safe now." You say soft.
"W-who are you?" Adam breathes calming a little.
"I'm your guardian angel. I'm the one who pulled you out of the pit." You say soft.
"I-I have an angel?" Adam frowns.
"Yes, my name is (y/n)."
"T-thank you." Adam says. You nod and then begin the process of helping Adam function.
Adam is finally eating a healthy measure of food. He was even starting to sleep better. You took damn good care of him. You update Castiel on the process of Adam. He nods and tells you that Sam has no soul. You frown and try to help him and Dean figure things out. Neither Dean nor soulless Sam know that Adam is back. When you are busy with other things Adam simply reads or watches movies.
Adam finally opens up about the things that happened in the pit. You listen with an indifferent look. You touch his hand and squeeze it. Adams eyes close and he sighs.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get you out sooner Adam.. It was a tough process and I was never suppose to break the rules and pull you out." You say soft.
"You broke the rules for me?" Adam asks.
"Yes, you didn't deserved to be locked in the pit with my idiotic brothers." You respond soft.
"T-thank you really. I thought everyone forgot about me." Adam sighs.
"I could never forget about you Adam. It's my job to protect you and I failed you the first time." You respond.
"You didn't fail me." Adam says touching your hand softly. You smile a little and that's when you hear a phone go off. Sighing you answer it and hear Dean. Apparently they have gotten Sam's soul back. You tell him you will stop by when you can to check in. Dean thanks you and hangs up.
"Would you want to see your brothers?" You ask soft.
"That was Dean?" He asks.
"Yes, I've become quite close with the Winchesters." You nod. Adam nods a little and then decides to make food. You watch him cook food and smile a little. Adam was starting to get a lot better and you are thankful.
( Adam's POV)
Spending all these months with you really made him start to like you. He doesn't know when he started falling for you but he did. The way your (y/e/c) eyes lit up when he told you stories. The way you smiled when he made cheesy jokes. The way you listened to his horrors from the pit and comforted him the best you could. Adam spends a lot of time thinking about you when you aren't around. He enjoys spending time with you.
Before long Adam hears you on the phone again talking to Dean probably. He hears you sigh and say a few more things. Turning around he finds you in the kitchen.
"Would you like to go to the bunker? Dean believes it's far more safe there for us." You say.
"Uh sure." He nods. He finds you smiling and then that's when he gains the courage. "(Y/n), can I talk to you?"
"Adam, you know you can talk to me." You smile. Adam sighs and puts down his plate.
"Look, I don't want to um.. Ruin anything here.. But I uh- I know this is probably stupid and will never work.. But I need you to know." Adam stutters a long with his words. You find yourself trying not to smile. "I like you a lot.. I m-mean I'm falling in love with you. I don't know if t-this can't work.. But It's the truth." You find yourself standing there shocked as all get out. Adam steps towards you and takes your hand. You look up at him and he leans down to kiss you soft.
"Adam.." You breathe out.
"Come on. We should probably go see my brothers." He says soft letting your hand go.
Upon reaching the bunker you are pulled into a tight hug by none other than Dean Winchester. You smile at him and that's when he sees Adam. Dean gasps and you sigh. You get him and Sam to sit down and you explain everything. You mention how you pulled him out of the pit. Dean looks at you wide eyed and nods. Adam reunite and you talk with Cas. Adams words running through your mind. He was falling in love with you.. You knew you were feeling things for him but you didn't think he felt the same.
You find yourself watching Adam as he laughs and talks with his brothers. Little to your knowledge Sam catches you watching Adam with a loving look on your face. The feeling of his lips on yours. Castiel picks up on it too and smirks.
So began the awkward transition of the boys playing match maker. Adam and you did get somewhat closer after the whole awkward kiss thing. Finally the holidays rolled around and Dean and Sam put mistletoe's everywhere. You had managed to miss them all.. Except for the one moment you and Adam both walked under one. You had accidentally ran into him. You were reading and walking.
"Oh god, I'm sorry." Adam stutters.
"That was my fault.. I was reading and walking." You sigh and reach down to grab your book. Adam does the same and your hands touch softly. Your eyes meet and you both stand quick. That's when you notice the mistletoe. You turn red and that's when Sam and Dean walk in. The watch with smirks on your face. Rolling your eyes you stand on your tiptoes and press your lips against his. Adam is shocked but his arm wraps around your waist pulling you closer. You pull back a little and can't help the smile on your lips. "You're wrong you know."
"What?" Adam questions.
"You aren't the only one who is falling." You smile. Adam looks at you with a smile and leans down to kiss you again.
"Alright you two." Dean warns.
"Shut up Assbutt." You smirk and kiss Adam once more. Dean makes gagging noises and you and Adam laugh. Things turned out okay since you rescued your human.
