"Christmas Eve and were working?.."

I groaned.

"Hey we need the money, Colton .."

Reminded Jack ending another call.

"Now be good elevator boy and to your elevator.."

I rolled my eyes and did so. I began to get very bored. It was 11:30 at night and nobody even used the elevators around this time.

"Lobby please."

I looked up. A girl dressed in a white dress holding multiple bags.

"Y-yes."

I choked out, pressing the button. She was stunning. I was an elevator boy and she was probably a singer or something fancy. I kept trying to say something but I couldn't. She walked out of the elevator. I took a deep breath and ran after her. I ran into a man wearing a suit. I smirked. "I'll take that!" I grabbed his black jacket and traded it with my red uniform. He looked mad but I didn't care.

"hold my shift!"

I yelled to Jake before continuing to ran after her.

"Miss!"

I yelled.

"Wait!"

She couldn't hear me not with how far away She was. I kept running following her outside she stepped on the street and began to walk across, to my luck the minute I stepped on it traffic arose on it. I watch her, now even more far away.

"Wait.."

I yelled again. I sighed it was no use. I watched cars in front of me passing oh-so fast. I had to think of something I had to meet this girl.

"Taxi!"

I yelled waving my hands. One stopped on the side I quickly hopped in.

"Where to, sir?"

I looked around for the girl and watched her turn corner.

"There.."

I pointed. He titled my head at my weird orders, but went anyways. Eventually I saw her through a window of a restaurant, singing.

"Stop there please."

He nodded and did so. I handed him a dime and ran up to the door. A man dressed in formal clothing stopped me.

"Sorry but this party is private."

"Please you have to let me in there!"

"Sorry rules are rules."

I looked through window and watched her for that was the last time I would see her face. I sighed and went back into the taxi.

"Take me to the hotel over there."

He nodded and began to drive off. Back to being a bellhop! I sighed and put head on my knees.

"Wait! Taxi!"

Somebody yelled from behind. The taxi stopped.

"Do you mind sharing with another person?"

He asked. I shrugged not really worrying about anything but that one girl. The door of the taxi then opened, I moved over so the other person could sit down...and there she was! The girl!...

"Where to, miss?"

"The hotel.."

She said. My eyes widened.

"..And looks like I'm gonna be there for a while I just got a gig here for performing every night, that's gonna be tough."

She sighed. 

"don't worry...something tells me you'll really like it there."

I said. She smiled. The next day I was working on Christmas Day it was unbearable but then I saw the girl walking into the elevator. This time I actually said something.

"Hi."

She looked over at me and smiled.

"Hi."
