Since 7th grade I've been considered to be the outcast because I started to change my look. My name is Blair. I have dark brown hair and I bleached the ends, and most of the time I wear red lipstick and black eyeliner. Today I was wearing a red off the shoulder crop top with the Rolling Stones logo, black skinny jeans, and my high tops.
My mom died when I was 2 and my dad is always working out of town or even out of the state to make as much money as he can, so I rarely see him. I pretty much fend for myself most of the time. My dad leaves me money to go shopping and pay any bills I need to. I have a whole house to myself and it gets kind of lonely except for my pets. I have two dogs four cats and a snake. Every once in a while my one friend came to stay with me, but that ended in 9th grade when rumours spread about me sleeping around and she "couldn't handle the pressure."
Sometimes I just walk and that's what I did. I just walked for a long time. I eventually got to the park, pulled out my iPod and turned on my music. It was starting to get dark so nobody was really there.
I noticed a dark shadow leaning on a tree. It suddenly disappeared into the night. "Nice music" I heard a voice appear next to me.
"Thanks" I answered. I was trying to make out the figure standing in front of me.
"I'm Louis." A small smirk appeared on his face. I could see all of his tattoos.
"I'm Blair." I replied still studying his body. He didn't seem to mind, he actually looked like he was enjoying the attention. I quickly snapped my full attention back up to Louis.
"Nice to meet you, love." His accent was so perfect and his voice sounded so seductive.
"You too."
Louis sat down next to me on the park bench. He was exceptionally close to me considering the length of the bench. His leg was brushing up against mine.
"Nice playlist." Louis said referring to my music.
"Thanks. I really love 80's rock." I remarked.
He smirked at me and giggled a little bit.
The wind started to blow and I shivered a little because I didn't bother to bring a sweater or even wear a regular length shirt. Louis noticed and put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. At first I was shocked by his haste to pull me close, but his embrace felt warm and inviting and for the first time in years I actually felt... Safe.
