"I WILL NOT HAVE YOU RUINING A SECOND HOLIDAY FOR ME. YOUR STUNT WITH MY SISTER HAS LEFT ME FAR FROM HAPPY. OUT. AWAY WITH YOU." Uncle Vernon spat.
"Alright. You're lucky I don't hex your ignorant arse. I'll leave for the second time this year to sit out in the cold alone." Harry replied.
"Don't try and guilt me into letting you stay, worm. Get out." Vernon said, clearly holding his temper back for the sake of Dudley and Petunia, who had heard enough fighting for one night.
Harry went upstairs to pack his necessities, as he had at the beginning of his third year at Hogwarts. He grabbed his still packed trunk, Hedwig, and some galleons he had lying on his nightstand and swiftly drug them downstairs out into the cold night.
It had all started when he had gotten home. His aunt had yet to be located and Vernon was, to put it lightly, upset. He hadn't said a word or lost his temper, he had stood and took the slurs and offensive statements from his temperamental uncle. It did him no good, he was still cold and alone. He needed someone to stay with, even if it was only for this one holiday. He decided the Weasleys' were his best bet. He would just have to find a way there.
He pulled out his ink and quill, along with some parchment, and set to writing the Weasleys' a letter.
Dear Arthur and Molly,
I've been thrown out by the Dursleys and was wondering if I could stay at the burrow until things blow over, which could be well towards the end of the holiday. If you cannot take me in I will understand completely. Please consider it.
Sincerely,
Harry Potter
He attached the letter to Hedwig and she was off in an instant.
"Hurry girl" Harry said, defeated.

Harry was jolted awake suddenly by the screeching of tires and an old engine running. He knew instantly it was the flying Ford Anglia. He had apparently fallen asleep on the curb and was numb from head to toe.
"Harry! Get in!" Ron bellowed, clearly happy to see his best friend again.
Harry did as he was told and loaded his belongings into the trunk, not in a rush as he was the last time the Anglia had come to his rescue.
"Been a long time since I've been here" Ron said.
"It's been a long time since I've been to the burrow! I can't wait to see everyone!" Harry said, happy to be with his best friend again.
"Ginny will be happy to see you." Ron said with a wink.
"Oh really now." Harry waggled his eyebrows.

We arrived at the burrow at twelve o' clock. Everyone was in bed, to Harry's dismay. He and Ron followed in suit. Ron led him to the guest room, and wished him goodnight. The long day of flying had taken it's toll on Harry. He was out just as soon as his head hit the pillow.
