"Joel?"
"yep" I answer looking up from my phone at her sparkling crystal blue eyes.
"can we go to the park? Please" She pouts and makes puppy eyes. I can't stand it.
"sure!"
She smiles with excitement and jumps up and instantly runs to the door. I laugh at how fast she runs to the door. We step out into the fresh London air. I glance up to the Cloud free sky, Its never usual is this clear out. We walk past the autumn trees. I pick up some leaves and throw them at her. I laugh. She lowers her eyebrows and grabs a pile of leaves and plunges them at me. We laugh as we continue to walk. I want to hold her hand, so badly. She looks a me, i can feel my cheeks go bright red. the feeling gets stronger, i just- and with that i reach my hand over to hers and as soon as my hand touches hers she flinches. I sigh to myself and turn around. "Joel?"
She doesn't feel the same as me, she doesn't have feelings for me. I ignore her yelling. I continue to walk and walk, I come across a train station. The train pulls up, i look back. Lizzie isn't there. I shrug and squeeze past all the people to get on the train. I scan my card and find a seat. I sit down in shame, disappointment and sadness.
Once the train arrives, i step out. Looking around, i realize i am only a couple of blocks away from our house. I just decide to go back. I open the door and chuck my bag on the floor, i walk to my room and shut the door, so Lizzie can hear im home. I hear nothing. I slam the door, still silence. She must not be home, so i decide to go into her room, her phone is on her bed. She never goes anywhere without her phone!
~ 5 days later ~
Joel's POV
Lizzie has been gone for 5 days and i am SO worried, where is she? her phone is at home, no-one has seen her, what do i do?!
