Chapter 13

Jacob ran shacked his walk in closet. Throwing things everywhere. He wasnt sure what he was looking for, but something just wasnt right. Kamile hadent been answering his calls or texts. And what ray said, had him thinking crazy. He searched through kamiles stuff, but found nothing out of the ordinary. Just when he was about to give up, a yellow slip of paper fell out of one of her skinny jean pockets. He bent down picking it up. It was a bank stub made out to a joshua gold for $10,000. His eyes widened in astonishment when he saw who it was from. At the bottom it read

'From: Mr. Jacob Perez'

"THE FUCK!!" Jacob couldnt believe what he was seeing. This couldnt be right, it couldnt...***

Tapping his foot impatiently, jacob waited at rays door step. He needed to talk to his brother. He rang the doorbell a few more times, then ray finally answered the door. He looked surprised to see jacob at his door step, but he immediatly knew something was wrong with him.

"ray, I need to talk to you "

jacobs said, his voice quivering with anger. With out a word ray let him in. they sat across from each other in the living room, jacobs face red with anger.

"please, dont say I told you so." He said.

"about what?" Ray asked

He tossed the piece of paper on the coffee table infront of ray.

"i found that in kamiles pants pocket" he said.

Rays face dropped as he read it.

"WHOA..." was all he could say.

Jacob sat in thought.

"so what are you gonna do about this" ray asked him.

"i dont know" he said. They just sat there in the silence.

He didnt know this who joshua gold was, or why kamile was giving him his money. But he was gonna get to the bottom of it.***
