(David Gandy as Luca Constanti)

Luca's cell phone rung, breaking him from his reverie.

"What?" he barked.  It was his second, Paulo Enzio, on the other end informing him that the Escalade was downstairs when he was ready to go.

"I'll be down shortly" Luca said, hanging up.  He had just stepped out of the shower so the mirror was fogged over.  He reached up with his right hand and swiped it across removing the moisture from the glass.

Staring at himself,  he fingered the scar that went down the left side of his chin.  It wasn't really bad, but it was noticeable.  He thought back to the son of a bitch that had given him that scar and how he, shall we say, was no more.

Luca was not a small man by any means.  He stood an impressive 6'2" and was from Italian descent with dark black hair, deep brown eyes that could almost look black at times, broad shoulders, a chest that would make any woman swoon, unbelievable abs and a panty- dropping V from his hips that went south.

He pulled on his black suit pants over his dark Calvin's and the black button down dress shirt that he hung in the bathroom before he showered.

Slowly buttoning the shirt, he tucked it into his pants, snatched his belt and the platinum cuff links off the counter.  They held simple initials LAC, Luca Andre Constanti.   He shoved them into the slits at the cuffs and pulled the bar horizontally locking them into place, sitting down on the bed, he put his socks and shoes on.  Stepping back into the bathroom, he sprayed on some Dolce and Gabbana, walked back into his bedroom, grabbed his tie and jacket and headed out into the rest of his house.

Luca's home was very masculine, very clean cut.  Lots of stainless steel, metal, dark colors.  He liked it that way.  He sometimes felt very shut off from the rest of the world and only held those in his inner circle close; keeping everyone else at arms length.

He was almost 28 years old and had never been married.  He really had no interest in settling down, but here lately it was the foremost thought in his mind.  Finding someone that could handle his way of life, not freak out and run screaming never to be heard from again.

You see Luca was a made man.  He was the head of the Constanti Famiglia.  Luca worked very hard to keep his "family" out of drugs and prostitution.  He didn't need that kind of exposure.  He liked keeping everyone under the radar.  Most of the other heads of the families that he did business with felt the same way.  Not all but most.  His interest was real estate.  Luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs, etc.  He was very good at it too.  He had a savvy eye for business and always seemed to be able to grow his money as well as those that were in business with him and worked for him.

In his living room sat three men of equal stature.  Paulo Enzio, his acting Underboss, Luigi Pinelli, his Consigliere and Fabio Bonatto, his Captain.  There were also soldiers, but they were not considered inside the inner circle and were only privy to need-to-know situations.

When you're in the position that these men are, you had to be careful with the company that you keep.

"Lu, what's the status on the application and permits for Santini's?" Luca asked of his counselor.  Santini's was a new restaurant/supper club that Luca was trying to get his hands on.  Prime real estate and it would be a draw not only to tourists but for New York natives and it would make Luca and his investors a pretty penny.

"I received a registered letter yesterday stating the application was in 'good standing' and that the permit is ready for me to pick up today" Luigi responded.  "Also all liquor permits have been acquired and I am supposed to meet with the contractor and interior designer this afternoon as well.  I just need to go over your specifications one more time that way I can get it done in one fell swoop" Lu added.  Luca smiled a rare smile.

"That is excellent!" he said.  He stood up causing his men to rise as well, this was Luca's indication that he was ready to leave.  Paulo held the door for Luca and everyone filed out and into the waiting SUV.  It was nice enough weather today that Luca decided he wanted to take his coffee at a little Italian cafe that he'd discovered while searching for real estate opportunities.  They would drop Luigi off on their way.

Luca stared thoughtfully out the window, something felt different about today, he couldn't put his finger on it but well there it was.
