"You did a really good job yesterday, you really earned everything that you have received. Today will be your very first day of training, I hope you are ready for it! Make sure that you have a lot of patience, magic is a tricky thing. I don't expect you to do everything right on the very first try. It will take a lot of time to master, but i can assure you, it's worth every last bit of it," Victoria stated.
"Thanks! I can't believe this is really happening. I'm so happy. I'm just really upset that I can't tell anyone, my best friend Sandra, she's Puerto Rican like me. She's been my best friend since first grade, we tell each other everything. I don't want to risk losing her though because i know she will hate me if i told. Sandra's a good christian girl, magic is like Satan for her. I'd hate to keep this a secret, if she was really my true friend, she'd except me right? Unless her beliefs come first of course... :/... Anyways... I can't wait to start training! Do i get a wand? Is that a part of this whole thing or is that just a stereotype? When i was smaller i remember always trying to cast spells and trying to do awesome things like bend air, water, fire or earth out of my hands. Everyone would always look at me strange, but i did it anyways. I always stood out, even as a young girl. I guess i was born to be weird, but hey, normals boring," I answered.
"Yes you do get a wand. It's actually a very common item you'll see everyday people have. No it's not a painted drum stick like Alex has on Wizards of Waverley Place, it's actually a crocheting needle. An average witch would use one of her/his choice of color and size, but you Laura Marble must use a the royal addition in blue. No other witch may use this unless they are related to you, so go ahead and feel special. The power that could be unleashed by your wand it to great for anyone to handle, and if they do decide use it, the gods will surely punish them at once. See the are not the most forgiving figures in the world, if you tick them off, they will give you hell. So on that note do not tic them off, you'll be fine. I promise. After school meet me by the front doors of the main entrance of our school, but for now hurry to class!"
Before I knew it, first period started and for the first time, i was late to my class. Luckily my teacher is too blind and careless to notice me. Glad i'm invisible, thanks a lot Mr. Happy, way to make me feel important. I hate having technology with her, but yet she loves me, so i should be happy with my undeserved hundreds.
As day went by it only seemed to go by slower and slower, but i guess that's what happens when you look forward to things. When i finally got to lunch, i was so excited i couldn't eat. It was already eighth period, my favorite period of the day, i finally got to see my true friends, you know the ones who i actually talk to outside of school and more than just hey did you get the answer to number 22? what about 23? 24?
"Heyyyy! What's up girlfriend, long time no see! I miss you. What have you been up to? Any boys i should know about," Sandra questioned while scooping me up and embracing me, nearly squeezing the life out of me. Jesus how was i suppose to answer, meanwhile my face was fifty shades of blue!
Nearly out if breathe, while my face regained its normal color, i managed to respond with, "Heyyy! I missed you too!! We have to hang out and catch up sometime soon. There's so much that we have to talk about! We have the rest of our last year here as 8th graders to gawk at guys and talk. I can't wait to tell you everything! And no there isn't any guys - yet. Haha!"
So we spent the rest of the forty minutes, i never knew i could on that much of a rant before, but anyways now it's ninth period, my favorite period ever. Not only because this is the very last period of the day, but because it's art and i love art. My day couldn't have ended better.
*RINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG* Finally the last bell rang. My day is over, now i can start training! I'm so excited, i just can't hide it! I'm so excited! Time to start training, i wonder what this would be like. OO what if its like that movie The Sorcerer's Apprentice? Man that would be so much fun! I loved that movie.
