When your heart has stopped
When the breathing has ceased
And you've gone stone cold
It's hard to love
When you've become so numb
When your thoughts've grown cold
When your feelings are gone
It's hard to seen
When you've become so blind
When you've closed your eyes
And let the wonder end
It's hard to care
When you've walled yourself off
When you've shut yourself down
And you're no longer there
