Flightless Bird
She is like a bird,
Wings broken,
Sadness overtakes her like waves in the ocean,
All hope is lost,
Low and behold a day arrives,
The flightless bird spreads her broken wings to fly,
She rises only to fall,
"Try again!" A voice inside her cries,
So close to giving up,
She raises her wings one last time,
And like a bird, she soars the sky.
