Just one more day is all I need! That's what I get, I guess for listening to Jenn's excuses for going to some high school party instead of listening to my English lit papers.
"It's our last year in high school Grace", she would tell me giving me that look that I just cannot resist.
Then of course I'd go. Thank you Jenn!

I've known Jenn since middle school. At first sight she hated me but then, long story short, after her "friends" dumped her for the new girl at school, Claire, I had found her in our school's bathroom crying her eyes out. I being the decent human I am felt bad and helped her out when she was at her weakest point. We hung out ever since and found out we weren't all that different after all.
Since then we have been inseparable and I don't know whether that a good thing or not, well based off the parties I attend now instead of finishing my homework I'd say bad.

Anyways, I'm Grace T. Marlowe and I am a going to be a senior this coming year at Milton High School and I know what your thinking, how boring your average stereotypical girl going to high school, but I wish that were my case. You see I am not fully human, through my veins runs the blood of not only my human mother but the blood Nephilim father. You know what sucks though? I've never meet my parents. My mom died in child labor and my father hasn't stopped by once to check up on me. Not one, "Hey, Grace! Just wanted to see how your doing?" or "Hey...Aren't you that daughter I haven't see in 17 years?", nothing! Really father!?!

Now I live with my aunt Clarisse, who has basically raised me since birth.

"What are you thinking about?", Jenn says coming into view in front of my face. "Hellooo", She waves her hand frantically in front of me.

"Oh, hey", I say in a bored tone, "I just was thinking about life", I see her standing in front of me, while I sat on the grass of the park she told me to meet her at 30 minutes ago.

"Of course you were, you seem to give me that response more often these days", she states giving me a worried look, her aurora displayed her genuine concern.
