I walked with the Van Dorts through the forest, birds sung to their morning songs as butterflies weaved through the trees. the forest seemed calm. Victor walked besides me. I kept glancing at him. "So Victor.." I started to say. "Yes?" he asked. "Why do you seem so sad? You don't have to tell me if you don't want." I asked. "My ex-wife left me. My other lover died." he answered grimly. "Oh..I am sorry to hear that..your ex wife is a bitch for doing that." I said. He blinked surprised at the fallow language. "Sorry for my language." I said looking away. "Its alright" he said as we strolled on.
"How come you moved here?" he asked. "I don't know. My parents wrote it in their will for me to move here." I explained.
For the rest of the walk we talked and talked getting to know each other. Soon the walk ended. 'I had a lovely time, maybe we could hang out again." Victor said. "I would love that" I said.
