"Why do Spiders Sound so Familiar?"

“What happened?” Shika asked.

“Neji fought Kidomaru and I took the other three” I said.

“Why?” Choji asked.

“Because I knew Neji could handle Kidomaru and I can take all five sound ninja at once. Ah shit, Tayuya is still alive. Oh well, daddy will kill her for being weak” I said.

“We need to get you inside as well as Neji” Hitomi said.

I nodded and with Neji and Hitomi’s help we got inside.

“Lay on your front in front of the fire” Hitomi ordered.

I nodded and did what she said.

Neji sat next me.

Hitomi came back in with a bowl of water.

“If only I had Sakura or Ino here” I muttered.

There was a knock at the door.

“Come in” Hitomi said.

“Excuse me, sorry to interrupt, but me and my team can look after Princess Darci if you want” I heard the head medic, Josh, say.

“Let them in. they’re good. Hitomi, you look after Neji” I said.

Hitomi nodded and Josh and his team came over.

“This will hurt Princess” Josh said.

“Of course it will” I muttered.

I felt something grab my hand.

My head rose and I saw it was Neji’s hand.

I lifted my head so I could look at his face.

A smile appeared on my face.

“Thanks” I said.

Neji nodded.

“We are going to pull it out now Princess” Josh said.

“Oh yippee” I mumbled.

When I felt it being pulled out I squeezed Neji’s hand and screamed at the same time.

After about an hour I was no longer in pain.

“You both need rest now” Josh said before his team along with Hitomi left.

I moved so I was sitting.

I couldn’t be bothered heading over to the couch so I used Neji’s shoulder as I a pillow.

“I view you differently now” Neji said.

“I view you different as well. I didn’t think you would save me” I admitted.

Neji chuckled.

“This may sound odd, but I want you to train with me” Neji said.

“So you can become stronger?” I guessed.

“Yeah” Neji admitted.

“Sure I’ll train with you. I’ll train with Hinata if she wants me too” I said.

“Are you two up for visitors?” I heard Kakashi say.

“Come in. Kiba is probably worried same with Shi and Rin” I said.

The door banged opened and I knew it was Kiba who rushed to my side.

“Are you alright Darci?” Kiba asked.

“I’m fine Kiba. I just need to rest and Hyuga has a really comfy shoulder, surprisingly” I said.

Kiba growled.

I rolled my eyes.

I grabbed Kiba’s chin and pulled his face close to mine.

My lips made contact with his.

“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t do that while leaning on me” Neji said.

Kiba pulled back and chuckled before he set his head in my lap.

“Are you two alright?” I asked my kin.

“Just shaken up. Thank you for coming sister” Shi said.

“Your family. Your first priority” I said.

Shi and Rin smiled at me.

“Mum is going to kill you for getting hurt” Shika said.

“Oh well” I said.

“Everyone is safe and no one was hurt. While you and Neji rest the rest of us are going to secure the village before moving everyone back in” Shika said.

“Can I stay here? You, Choji, Lee and Kakashi sensei can handle that surly” Kiba said.

“Go help your comrades Kiba. If I’m still asleep when your done, come here and do what your doing now” I said.

“Fine then” Kiba said.

“Is it ok if Rin and I stay here?” Shi asked me.

“If you’re quiet” I said.

They nodded and sat on the couch.

Shi had her head in Rin’s lap.

“Rest well Darci” Neji said.

“You have a good rest as well Hyuga” I said before I shut my eyes and fell asleep.
