Chapter 2: What do you mean?

**Author's Note: I am not Ethiopian and I didn't research if this was actual, in fact, true. It's just something that popped up in my head one day while I was chilling.  Since this is a fiction, fanmade, story the Affiance Ceremony is also depicted as fiction so I hope you enjoy the story as it is. **

Danii's POV: 

I hung up the phone kind of feeling sad because I couldn't really see my boyfriend. I really missed him and him being on tour isn't really making this better. I hopped out of the truck and made sure Kenny'tra and I had what we needed and locked the door. We walked into the studio and greeted the secretary Catherine

D: Hey Catherine!

C: Hey loves your dancers are in Studio 14 upstairs today.

K: Okay thanks

We walked upstairs and turned left into the studio room where our dancers were already stretching

Dancers: hey Danii hey Kenny'tra!

D: Wassup ya'll, ya'll ready to practice WDYM? (What do you mean by Justin Bieber)

Dancers: Hell Yeah!

K: okay  let us stretch and then we can get started

After we finish stretching, we get started with completing the finishing moves for the song

D: One, Two, Three, Four, pahh! (Dancer talk)

Tez POV: 

I just got off of the phone with the love of my life Danii. We've known each other basically all of our lives I'm just 3 months older than her. We've been going out since we were both 16. Right now I'm on my way to surprise Danii at dance practice. The tour ended early due to some inconveniences they wouldn't tell us about so Nash, Hayes, Matthew, Cameron, and I decided that we should go to North Carolina and just chill. I had some other stuff on top of chilling planned. I'm in love with Danii and I'm very sure of that and since we are Ethiopian I wanted to keep with tradition and purpose to her with a promise ring. In Ethiopia, there's something you can before marriage called an Affiance Ceremony (again I do not know if this is actually true) it's where you "purpose" with a promise ring and you go through a ceremony similar to a wedding called an Affiance Ceremony or a Pre-Marital Ceremony. Then when you're ready you can officially propose and then get married. You only go through with an Affiance Proposal if you're 1,000,000,000 sure that you want to spend the rest of your life with that person. To say that I'm 1,000,000,000 sure is an understatement, she's everything that I want, I can't see myself being with anyone else but her. The van we were in pulled up to my house, which was conveniently across from Danii's house. The guys and I put our bags into my living room and then went across the street to Danii's house. I knocked on the Door and Danii's brother Dee opened the door.

Dee: my man, Tez, whatcha doing here?

Tez: I got the ring and I wanted to show you and Ma how it looks.

Dee: *yells* ma! Tez is here with the ring!

Ma: *running down the steps* where!? where!? lemme see!!!!!!!!

Tez: *sits down with the rest of the guys* You remember the guys right?

Dee & Ma: yeah, hey!

The Guys: Hey

Tez: *pulls a Rose gold, suede box out of his pocket * Here it is *hands it to Ma*

Ma: *opens the box and gasps* It's beautiful, yet simple, she'll love it.

Dee: You definitely will make her happy with this, especially since you're following tradition. 

Tez:*sighs with relief* Thanks, now I just have to "propose" to her, I'm kinda nervous.

Ma: there's no need to be nervous, Danii loves yo with everything she knows, there's no way on Earth that she'd not say yes, don't be nervous, just do it with confidence. 

******ON THE WAY TO THE STUDIO******

Tez: Guys, I think I'm just gonna do the flash mob thing at the studio and propose then.

Nash: okay I'll send out the mass text message 

In the text message: Hey Guys it's Nash, the flash mob proposal is on for Tez and Danii. Remember she doesn't know that this is happening so when I text you that we're here you know what to do.
