Rose awoke, still laying in bed with sunlight illuminating her formerly-dark room. The ringing of the alarm on her phone had woken her up from a terrible dream. X She put her outfit on, a red button up, a Skeleton Clique necklace, red Converse, jeans, and finally her Blurryface Twenty One Pilots sweater. She looked okayish, she decided. She was nervous. What if she got lost? Would the teachers yell at her for being late?
She threw her backpack over one shoulder, and headed out the door to the bus stop. She waited impatiently for the CTA bus to arrive. When the bus finally coasted to a stop she got on and paid the bus driver. She looked for a spot. She sat near the back and plugged her earbuds in, listening to Imagine Dragons. She toyed with her wristbands which covered her scars.
After what seemed like an eternity, the bus stopped near her school.
"Fuck.." She thought. She didn't want to be here.
She got off and walked awkwardly toward the school. She stopped at the entrance, took a deep breath, and walked in.
She ventured until she found the main office. There was a woman who greeted her and asked why she was here.
"I'm n- new here and I- I'm not sure where to go.. My name is Rose."
"Last initial?"
"M"
"Ah yes, well your locker is on the second floor, number 173, and here's your schedule." She gave Rose a sheet of paper.
"Okay. Thanks."

She was in her first class, biography. The teacher, who was named "Mr. W" was already teaching stuff. She fiddled with her fingers and did not pay attention. The day went on like that basically. No one talked to her. That was a good thing to her. She had social anxiety. School ended and she went back home.
