Chapter 3

"Oh, you're the only one who could put him down? No one else can play with your toys?"

"You're such a bitch!"

"Whatever. I don't give a crap what you think."

"At least I can think. 4.0 bitch honor roll. Suck on that when you're trying to sleep your way into a job."

"Who needs grades when you've got all the natural advantages you can handle."

"Oh please."

"You couldn't buy a moldy loaf of bread with your skanky ass."

"Are you serious? Do you think that's an insult?"

You were getting sick of this now, so you looked back over at Mike and mouthed 'should I stop them?', to which you got a slight shrug in return.

You sighed, mostly because you didn't really know how to stop the fights between your two best friends. It was hard to keep the peace while making sure you stayed neutral. But when you had your hookah, everything was just fine.

You now got up, took in a lung full of smoke and walked in between them, smoking them out. They both coughed, making them shut up.

"What the fuck (Y/N)?" Emily was pissed at you, but you couldn't let this fight infect anyone else.

"Listen, I've heard enough of you two idiots bicker. Can we just cut it out and get to the drinking?" You pleaded to the two, for they could never resist alcohol.

"Who are you calling idiots?" Jess ignored your offering of drinking, and continued to fight.

Sighing, you took another puff of smoke and made o's in the air,  them defuse, getting bigger and bigger as they moved through the air.

"All you wanna do is smoke yourself away anyways with no one there by your side." Jess growled at you, making you angry. You tried to keep your cool, you knew she got like this when she was angry, but she never really meant any of it.

"Ok, can all of you just stop?" Mike came to your aid, attempting to end this ongoing fight.

"Be quite Mike." Emily hissed.

"STOP IT! This is not why we came up here, this is not helping. It's not what I wanted. If we can't get along for ten minutes then maybe we need a little bit of a break, right? Mike, why don't you check out the guest cabin, the one I told you about." Josh broke up the fight, getting all of your attention.

"Yeah, yeah alright. Wanna go do that?"

"Any place without that whore."

"It's right up the trail.."

"Good luck." You whispered to Mike before he walked out with Jess.

"Phew. Glad that's over."

"Amen." You agreed with Matt, taking yet another puff of smoke.

"So Josh, should we get this fire going?"

Matt offered to help Josh with the fire, but then, you heard Emily's voice again. She was your good friend, but right now, you were really tired of her voice. Leaning your head back on the couch, you looked at the ceiling. As Emily continued complained about something, you closed your eyes and continued to smoke.

God I hope this thing doesn't run out by the end of the weekend

You thought, knowing it was going to be stressful, you weren't sure if 350 puffs was enough for the whole weekend. Sometimes dealing with Emily could get tough.

Finally, Emily left with Matt, leaving silence for once.

"Okay, so I'm gonna go take a bath." Sam let out a sigh, walking up the stairs, leaving just you, Josh, Chris and Ash.

"Hey, (Y/N), come take these keys to Mike and Jess with me. Get some big puffs out there so you can go easier with that stuff in here. I know those two a stressful, but I don't want the whole lodge filled with smoke."

"Sure thing." You replied before getting off the couch, following Josh into the blizzard.

"Hey! Porn stars! You're gonna need these." Josh tossed them the keys. You walked out, leaning over the balcony with your hookah, continued to smoke away your jealousy.

"Porn stars?"

"I'd pay to see it."

"Make that two." You said from the balcony.

"Uh, gross."

"Hey, I'd pay double to join in." You replied to Jess, making her playfully sigh, turning to look at you. You winked at her, making her giggle.

"Sorry to kick you out like that."

"Hey, no worries man."

"Oh, I'm sure you'll find a way to entertain yourselves."

"Mmm-hmmm.."

"Hey, are you still considering my offer?" You joked once more, earning a glance from all three of them.

"I'd take it. Could use a few extra bucks." Mike replied. A smug smile spread across your face, blowing your last bit of smoke through your nose. He winked at you, making you chuckle.

"You hear that Jess, seems like I'll be joining you two."

"I'm cool with that, as long as Josh'll come too." Jess winked at Josh, just adding to your humor.

"You guys being serious here?" Mike questioned.

"As long as you are sweetheart." You winked back at him. Ok, so maybe you did find Josh's secret stash of alcohol, doesn't mean you wouldn't take up this offer on any other day.

The small empty bottle of whiskey that was harbored in your jean pocket now fell out onto the floor. Everyone glared at the empty bottle, then back at you.

"Well that explains a lot." Mike chucked, clapping his hands together. You weren't the one to sleep around, hell, you've never even given up your v-card yet, but you sure didn't act like it. If anyone ever met you, they'd always think you were the biggest slut and junkie ever, yet the only drugs you've done was some pot. All the rest is just drinking and your hookah pens. Your v-card was still fully intact.

"(Y/N), I was saving that stuff for later! Plus, I want everyone on there toes tonight, there's enough time for drinking later." Josh scolded you.

"Jeez Josh it's only one bottle. You have like twenty left anyways."

"Thanks not the point." He sighed at you. It was strange, he was never the one to get mad at someone about drinking. You just brushed it off. You hated getting into someone's business and questioning them, mostly because you hate it when someone does it to you.

"Fine, fine, no more for now." You replied, pulling up your skull bandana that was draped around your neck up to your face as a signal to no more drinking or smoking until later. You put your hands up, walking towards Josh.

"You're given me all the details later Mike." You winked before heading back inside were it was a little warmer.
