Cathy left an hour ago and I am now at home. Duke said hey would be back in about fifteen minutes. Cathy had helped prepare myself for this, now to just brake it to him.

"Babe I'm here" I here duke say as he walks into the kitchen where I am and takes a seat in front of me on the black leather barstools.
" hey baby, so... Do you want to watch a movie" I ask bluntly, hoping he want notice.
" sure babe, what do want to watch, it's your choice" he asks as he looks at me.
"Actually how about we just talk" I ask hesitantly.
"Um... Sure what do you want to talk about" he whispers sadly.
" um... us" I reply uneasily
" sure.... What about us" he asks
" um, I don't think it's working, I mean us, this, it isn't working for me I want to brake up" I whisper sadly.
" what but why, baby it's working fine, we love each other, I love you beyond words compare, baby what's wrong, did I do something wrong, baby please answer me, baby what did I do, please tell me" he asks his voice shaking towards the end as his eyes fill with unshed tears.
" you didn't do anything duke, ok, it just not working anymore, yes I still love and probably will for quit some time but, it, this, just isn't working anymore, I'm sorry duke" I whispers as silent tears leave my eyes, though the next words he says has me balling my eyes out.
" fine you know what, I don't care anyways, you were only a good fuck, I never fucking loved you, you are just an ungrateful fucking ugly Bitch" he says. Then he slaps me across the face and walks out the front door leaving me huddled on the floor clutching my check and tears pouring out my eyes.
All I can say is thank god I didn't let him mark me.

It has been three hours since duke walked out, and all I have done is cry and sleep.
I get up from bed and go get a drink because my throat is dry from all the crying. As I walk into the kitchen I hear the front door close and see Jev walk into the kitchen looking tired and worn out.
As soon as he sees me with tear stained cheeks and red eyes from crying, he immediately engulfs me in a bone crushing hug, which makes fresh tears spring to my eyes.
"What happened, mar's" he ask with a soft voice full of concern.
"I broke up with duke, and he, he, he" I croaked out unable to finish the sentence because of the sobs that raked through my body.
" Marley I swear to god what did he do" Jax asked getting angry and louder with each word, the vain on the side of his neck stated bulging out and his started turning read with anger.
"Hey yelled at m-me a-and h-h-he hi-t-t m-me" I sobbed out, tears now leaked down my cheeks.
"I'm going to KILL him" Jax yelled out his overprotective side coming out. As he went to turn around I grabbed hi arm and whispered.
" no please, Jax just stay I just want to spend my birthday with you, please" at that his face softened and his body started relaxing.
" ok, how bout Netflix and chill, I mean actually chilling, not well you get it right haha" he sighed.
"Perfect and yea" I whispered as he wrapped me in his arms. The house was quit and all that was heard was our breaths and our hearts.
The last thing I heard before I fell asleep was a relieved whispered thank god from Jev, which put a smile on my face, allowing me to go to sleep with a happy peaceful smile on my face.

* Adams POV*
" Arnou, will you please shut up, I'm trying to work things out for this meeting" I told my wolf, who might I add has not shut up for the past week about something big happening, but a- he want tell me when it's happening. B- he want tell me what it is. And c- he want tell me if it is good or bad.
" Ok, look I can put you out of a bit of you misery and say that....." He said mischievously.
" What, say what?" I asked impatiently.
" Oh, right, well first it is good and if you don't like, I am NEVER speaking to you again, second it is tomorrow night at the meeting, and third I can't tell you what it is. Oh and no I will not stop nagging you" he said, and by his voice I new he serious.
" well, ok then, see was that hard a- wait did you say it was happening at the meeting, but that so close, god I hope it's good"

All night I could think about was what this thing might be.
Oh and the thought that runs through my mind every night, my mate, my Luna, my everything, well that is if she is even real, but I mean she must, all I know is that when I meet her, she is not going any were, it has been four years since I turned eighteen and I still haven't found her it's killing me.
