Tykia's P.O.V

At eight my mom was home. Time to have our little talk. I ran downstairs and sat down on the couch.

"Hello, Tykia. Ready to talk?"

"As ready as i'll ever be."

"So, who's this little boy you were kissing, Tykia?"

"Um.... He's David, my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend? Your fifteen! You ain't ready for no boyfriend!"

"Mom, i'm fifteen and I think I'm ready for a boyfriend. He loves me and I love him."

"I'm trying to keep you from growing up like me. Having a baby at a young age ain't easy, Tykia and-"

"We're not having sex, mom! I'm a virgin and I don't plan on having sex anytime soon."

"Yeah, okay. Go upstairs."

I got up from the couch and ran upstairs to my room. Why does she think I'm having sex? Why does she automatically think that because I have boyfriend were having sex? She's so complicated !

Nova's P.O.V

At 12:00 we arrived at Nakia's house. It felt good to be back in, Chicago but all we wanted to do was sleep. We knocked on the front door and about a minute later, Nakia opened the door.

"Hey guys! Come in!"

We all walked in and sat on the couch, While Nakia screamed for, Tykia to come downstairs. When Tykia finally did come downstairs she showed us to our rooms. I slept like a baby!

( Next Morning)

When I woke up I smelled breakfast. It smelled delicious. I put my robe on and ran downstairs, quietly so I wouldn't wake anyone.

"Hey, baby. Cooking breakfast for momma?" I joked as I sat at the kitchen table.

"Yeah." she laughed. "Girl, I got a secret."

"A secret? What!?"

"Well, I think I might be pregnant. I'm happy but scared!"

"What!? You and Ford been having sex a lot lately?" I asked curiously.

"Well, um, yeah. He puts it down, girl!"

We laughed.

"So does Kemo, but lets make these plates for these people." I said.

We made plates and soon everyone was gathered at the table. We said grace and began eating. Things were going well but I felt tension between, Tykia and Nakia.

"Mom, are you still mad?" Tykia asked loudly causing others conversations to die down.

"Tykia we can talk about this privately."

"No, mom. Lets just talk now!"

"What are y'all talking about?" Ford asked.

"Daddy, I've got a, um, boyfriend. Mom doesn't think I should have one."

"Boyfriend? Go upstairs, Tykia. We need to talk." Ford said.

Kadence's P.O.V

I don't know why, Tykia's parents are getting so mad that she has a boyfriend! If she can tell them she has a boyfriend she must not be doing nothing bad with him. Parents can be so dumb sometimes!

Tykia's P.O.V

After getting yelled at by my father I texted David.

Me: come to my house !

David: yo parents there?

Me: yeah but they wanna meet u

David: u sure bae?

Me: Yesssss . Hurry

I lied to David. Today would be the day my parents accepted me and David or forgot about me altogether!
