Chapter one

Its a chilling October morning and everyone is excited for Halloween. In the Carter household is a small family of three. Helen Carter who is the mother of them all and with her are two children. Her Daughter Alexis and Her son Daniel.

For a few years now Helen has managed two jobs working as a checkout girl and bringing up both Children practically singlehandedly. Whilst their father Jonas left without leaving a penny to their names.

Helen of course suspected that there must have been another woman because in her mind a guy does not leave behind a wife and two children for no reason. Since he left the house he has not been seen since. According to the police and the Child Support Agency It appears that he has vanished without a trace.

For Helen this worries her as Her Children do have a role model figure to look up to and it is a struggle juggling two Jobs and two kids.

Helen sighs to herself thinking about this and turns over in her bed. She looks at the clock its 7.30 in the morning. She decides to sleep for an hour and rest before the kids wake up .
