IT had been eight years since James lived in London, and he never returned to Manila Philippine since then. However he did not plan to live in this foreign country forever because he had to help his father in handling the family business in Manila. So he guessed it was the time for him to come home.

"So, you are finally coming home. What are you going to do with that girl?" asked Enrique before he sipped the beer in his glass. James smirked as he knew whom his best friend referred to. They had been friends long enough for James to trust Enrique about sharing his family problems with this guy.

They shared each other problems and secrets, and they knew pretty much about each other. Enrique had met his two best buddies Andre Paras and Adrian Justine when they flew to London to visit him, and he had been friend with them too. He even had met his father Mr. Angelo Michael Reid and his Lola Liezel Augustino Lyvia Mendoza-Reid, but he had not seem or met Nadine Alexis Mercado, the girl that he hated so much in his life.

"That girl, I know what to do with her. She has a good life after I left, but I'll make sure that she knows her place. I'll make her leaves that house, mark my word," James replied with confident.

"Dude, can you do that? I mean she got your Dad and Lola at her back. Oh, don't forget, your Mom also likes her," Enrique doubted if James would ever success with his plan. According to James, after his parents separated when he was 17 years old, his father brought Nadine to live with them two weeks after James' mother left the house.

What made James angrier and frustrated was Nadine was the daughter of woman that had affair with his father, and it was the same woman that became the reason his mother asked for divorce. Enrique understood that James had the right to be mad, but he should not blame Nadine for everything that had happened to his family.

He should just move on because his mother had found her happiness again. After a year his parents divorced, his mother married again with her old friend, and James glad that his step-father was kind and reliable person. Enrique also came from a broken family but instead holding his anger and grudge, he chose to focus on be happy.

"I don't care whom she got behind her, but I'll make sure that she will regrets for her entire life," James gripped the glass tighter as the old memories replayed in his eyes one by one. What he remembered the most was how Mr. Angelo's hand landed on his face for the first time because of Nadine.

The sting was unforgettable. Nadine was not related to them by blood, but his father willing to hurt his own son because of that girl. Mr. Angelo protected her because she was the daughter of his first love. James wished that Nadine was in the same car when her mother involved in the accident, so she could just died with her mother.

'Nadine, you have taken so many things from me. You take my happiness and my family away from me, but I won't allow you to live happily. I'll make sure that you regret for what your mother had done to us,'

JAMES had surprised everyone especially Auntie Yana, his former nanny and now was working as the housekeeper here. She still looked young and fit despite her age that would turned 55 soon. He saw a lot of new faces here, but it was not his main concern at all. James thought that he could surprise Lola Liezel by not telling anyone about his return.

Too bad that Lola Liezel had left to Pampanga today for charity event and would return tomorrow morning. His father of course must be at his office at this hour, and he did not want to know where Nadine was. James looked around, and there were so many changes had been done to this house.
