S H A N N O N
The rain was still pouring, it was bashing against my window like crazy. At some moments it felt like its gonna smash through the windows. The thunder had went away though, it stopped rumbling but something else started, my stomach. It was so loud I could recon my neighbors could here it. It was louder than the thunder heard before.
But even with the rain smashing my windows and my stomach creating a thunderstorm I had to stay focused so i could be ready in time to leave. I had less than an hour to think of a good backstory AND make myself look presentable in front of my classmates and of course Michael.
I quickly roamed through my wardrobe but then soon realized that I have literally 0 dresses to wear. So of course I had to turn to my best friend and funnily enough my only friend, Charlie, who was probably already on her way with 20 dresses to convince me to go. Every time i'll call her she'll already be on her way to my house so I would just assume she was almost here.
Before I could even pick up my phone there was a knock on my door and my phone buzzed in my hand, indicating that I had a text. I scanned over my phone to see a text from, of course, Charlie.
From: Char :D
Open the damn door its freezing!!!
I laughed slightly before opening the door and smiling politely at my best friend. She fake smiled back at me before storming into my room and dropping about 7 hangers with dresses dangling from them on my bed.
"You have to come to the reunion because guess who else is going to be there." She said, sitting herself down next to the dresses.
"Michael Clifford is going to be there, i know."
"No actually, Michael Cli-- wait how did you know?" Her eyes darted up from her phone screen up to me.
"It's a long story, now, show me the dresses before I change my mind about going." I smiled. She nodded quickly as she picked up the dresses and threw them at me.
"Try them on and pick your favorite"

After 20 minutes of me trying on one thousand different dresses I picked the only one I liked, a black knee-length, sleeveless cocktail dress . It had a tiny little bow at the back which I thought was cute. I paired it with plain creme colored heels.
My hair had dried from the rain by then and I didn't do much to it because i liked the messy and wavy look for it. My make up was quite simple and of course, done by Charlie who was a pro at all this while i'd probably just smack on some concealer and mascara as i wasn't a bit fan of the make up thing. She knew that i didn't like that much make up so she only did a simple smokey eye with dark-red, almost maroon, lips.
I took the last look in the mirror before turning around to Charlie.
"Lets go and crash this reunion"
