Chapter 75

♪♥♪ ANOTHER SAD CHAPTER GUYS ♥♪♥

***WILLIAM'S P.O.V***

'Hello, clearly you guys are here for Shona.' The doctor stated and we all nodded because we were all too overwhelmed at this point in time.

'Please take a seat.' He said motioning towards the nearby seats, that can't be a good sign.

'Now, Shona suffered an asthma attack and she also had an anxiety attack at the same time, and this is why she has reacted so badly. While sending away further testing we have found that she has bulimia, an eating disorder. Did any of you guys know about this?' The doctor asked and we all shook out heads no. Although I have noticed that when she is around me she does eat very little.

'Okay, so now you all know. And Shona has also fallen into a comatose and and the only thing keeping her alive is that life support machine. If she ends up being in the comatose for longer than two months the parents will be given the choice if they want the life support machine switched off.' The doctor informed us and her mum began crying as André tried to calm her down.

'How long do you think it will be before she wakes up?' I spoke up and the doctor sighed.

'I'm sorry, I can't give you an answer to that one. She could wake up in five minutes, in six months time, possibly even a year from now. I cannot tell you a certain answer but I can tell you, when she does wake up will be determined by how strong her fight and will power is.' He answered and looked back in the room at her.

'I really hope she pulls through for you guys, best of luck.' He stated before standing up.

'Thank you doctor, for doing all you can.' I thanked him. 'That's from them too, they just can't say it right now.' I stated shaking his hand and he smiled.

'No problem kid, that's my job. Best of luck.' He responded before turning and walking away.

I looked through the window at Shona and I couldn't believe that today has happened. I mean I felt like I was in a dream when I won the talent competition but then when Shona started to have her asthma/anxiety attack it turned into a horrible nightmare. I turned back to Jacinta and André and Jacinta looked like she was on the verge of breaking into pieces.

'Umm, if were allowed in. You guys can go in first, it's only fair.' I informed them and Jacinta smiled gratefully.

'Thanks mate, it means alot.' André responded.

'No problem, its really the least I could do.' I responded and he smiled. 'But do you mind if I stay the night, here with her?' I asked hopefully. André looked down at Jacinta and she smiled and nodded her head yes.

'Sure thing kid, but were there first ones you ring if anything happens, okay?' André answered.

'Of course. Thank you.' I answered and then a nurse came up to us.

'Would you guys like to see Shona?' She asked kindly.

'Only two people at a time though please.' She informed us as she went and unlocked the door. André and Jacinta went in first and I could see that it broke both of their hearts break to see her the way she was. I don't know if I'll be able to hold myself together when I go in there.

I decide to text Chad, Ryan, Alexis and Niki and give them an update on Shona's current condition. They were all shocked and they all agreed that they would come up and see her after school. I then texted my mum and dad and they were shocked by how badly her asthma and anxiety had effected her. They decided to come in and see her around 5:30.

I started to look through the pictures of Shona and I on my phone, which I already knew wouldn't help me at the moment. I needed to at least think she was happy, I needed to at least think that I would see her smile or hear her laugh or hear her voice again sometime soon. When I came to the picture of Shona and I on our date and she was meant to be pulling a derp face but she kissed my cheek instead, that was the one that hit home hard. A tear rolled down my cheek as I remember back to that perfect night that neither of us wanted to end, the night I first told her that I loved her.

'Are you alright honey?' Jacinta asked as she put her hands on my shoulders.

'Yeah.' I managed to answer wiping the stray tear from my cheek.

'That's a cute picture.' She stated and I smiled.

'Thanks, it's one of my favourites.' I responded.

'She'll pull through. I know she will. She's like my best friend William, I can sense she will get through it.' She tried to convince me.

'I hope you're right Ms Thompson.' I responded and put my phone back into my pocket.

'Its tough to go in there kid. You gotta stay strong for her okay?' André asked and I nodded my head.

'I know.' I agreed.

'She needs some rest, I've gotta get her home and let her clear her head. Here's my number, call me or text me with any new info, cause if you tell her she'll freak, alright?' He asked.

'For sure.' I responded and he smiled. He shook my hand then gave me one of those man hug things.

'You're alright kid. I hope things work out between you two.' He stated and I smiled.

'Thanks sir. Me too.' I responded.

'I'll talk to you later kid.' He replied before walking with Jacinta back to the window talking one last look at her before leaving down the hall.

Now its my turn to go in there, to look at my helpless girlfriend in the hospital bed with cords attached to her helping her stay alive. But hey, if I do breakdown its not like anyone is here to see me......
