Music: between the devil and the deep blue sea by XYLØ

"Here you go" Connor said placing a latte infront of me.

"Thanks."

Connor sat opposite me. His smile was unusually infectious. He was a lot different from what I've heard.

"Why do you exactly know this place? I thought you would hate stuff like this cause it's 'gay'." I said sipping on the scolding coffee.

He shook his head.

"Firstly I found it when I went to clear my head after an argument and it's just become a place that I really enjoy. Secondly can you not describe things as gay, it's not a bad thing at all so why use it as an insult."

Completely different.

"Wow. Sorry I just expected someone like you to use it as an insult. You're not exactly portrayed as the nicest person ever." I said going back to my coffee.

"Nice to know that people still judge a book by its cover." He said looking out of the window, watching the leaves fall.

"You really aren't the person I thought you were." I said truthfully.

Connor was different. I wanted to know more, a lot more.

"You never answered my question Troye."he said looking back at me. His emerald eyes locking onto mine.

The walk here was in silence, no talking, just observing the nature. I enjoyed that.

"What question?"

"Do you and Zoe have a thing going on?" He said finally taking a sip from his own coffee.

Zoe Sugg was one of the prettiest nicest girls I've ever come across. I mean we weren't friends but she smiles at me now and then in the corridor and we hug sometimes.

"No? Zoe isn't exactly my type." I said bluntly, wondering where he got this idea in the first place.

"Oh well she won't shut up about you. She talks about you constantly. To be honest it's a little creepy if you ask me."

Zoe Sugg liked me? Why? I thought her and Alfie had a thing?

"Really?" I asked, pretty confused at this point.

The boy nodded. His hair flopping onto his forehead. I couldn't help but stare.

"Yep. So what exactly is your type?" His question straight forward.

Did I trust Connor enough? Well it's not exactly a bad thing to tell him is it.

"Well. Erm. You can't tell anyone." I said awkwardly. He nodded.
"Well I like boys." My sheepish voice cracking at the end of the sentence making me blush.

"Oh cool, got your eye on anyone?" He seemed unfazed by this.

"Did you just hear me? I said I like boys?"

"Yea I heard you. And so what. You like boys. That's great. Why should it be a big deal to me. I'm not gonna treat you any different." His dark green eyes offering comfort.
