Chapter 10

I land at my apartment, hopefuly with no one around. I fold my wings against my back and head inside. I knock down my door and plop down on my bed. It's like I never left. It feels like I have to go to school, drive there with Maria, be hugged by Sean. I walk over to my window. The moon is full and all the stars are out. I double take, there's something else out there, in the sky, human sized. I look closer, oh my god! It's Sean, Sean is flying toward me, like with wings! He flys right to my window and hovers there. I just stare, he looks so hansom in the moonlight, his blue wings flapping and dark hair blowing in the wind.

"I..." Sean started, but I cut him off with a wave of a hand.

"What, you can explain?" I say

"No." Sean just looks at me. I lean out the window and put wrap my hand on the back of his neck and pull him toward me, stopping him an inch from my face.

"I can." I pull him into a kiss. He wraps his arms around me in a full embrace. I pull away. I give him a goofy smile.

"So I'm guessing you were born an Apollyon?"

" Yes, but I guess I was keeping it from you for the same reasons you were keeping it from me."

"And what reasons are those?"

"You would instantly fall in love with me." he says, grining like an idot.

I step back from the window. He gracefuly glides in, landing a few inches from me. I get a good look at him, his wings were as blue as the ocean and eyes as bright as the sky. I have to admit, he's more musclular than I give him credit for. He steps towards me, wrapping his arms around me, and leans in to kiss me. I run my hands through his hair and I press myself againt him. He pulls back.

"What?" I said.

He turns away,"It's just..."

I take a step towards him," You can tell me anything."

He turns around, a tear runs down the side of his face,"Abaddon is here for you."
