They arrived at Cookout exactly at 2:00. They saw a guy that look like Kendrick

Kendrick: I think that's him

Destiny: He looks just like you

Kendrick: I know

Derrick: Kendrick! Kendrick! *waves him down*

They walk over

Derrick: You have grown into I tall young man. Hello Shondrica *smiles*

Shondrica: Hey Derrick *smiles*

Kendrick: So mom he really isn't lying he is my dad

Shondrica: Yes he is

Kendrick: Why are you just now telling me this?

Shondrica: When Elijah Sr. started beating me badly it was because I found comfort in Derrick. Every time I would tell him to take a DNA test he would fight with me. So when I moved out I tried to get Derrick to take the test but he moved so I just let it go because you already grew up with Elijah Sr.

Kendrick: So you've missed 26 years of my life

Derrick: No 21 i found you guys and I took up the responsibility of my child

Kendrick: Why did you leave?

Derrick: You're mom got back with your dad

Kendrick: That's where Elijah comes in?

Derrick: No

Kendrick: How come?

Shondrica: Elijah is Elijah Sr.'s son from his first marriage

Kendrick: Wow. Anyway mom why did you go back?

Shondrica: I was in love

Kendrick: I understand. At least now we know the truth

Derrick: Yes. So can I be in your life?

Kendrick: Yes sir

Derrick and Kendrick both stood up and gave each other a hug

Derrick: So who is this beautiful young lady stuck in all this?

Kendrick: Sorry baby we were kinda ignoring you

Destiny: *chewing* it's okay I had these little snacks to keep me company *laughs*

Kendrick: Well dad this is my wife I mean girlfriend!

Destiny smiles

Derrick: Well nice to meet you

Destiny: Nice to meet you too

Derrick: Speaking of wife *gets on one knee* Shondrica Williams will you marry me?

Tears starts to form in Shondrica's eyes

Shondrica: Omg yes!

Derrick puts the ring on Shondrica's finger. Picks her up and hugs her tightly

Destiny: Awww Congrats guys!

Kendrick: My dad has guts! Congrats y'all

Derrick: What do you mean by that?

Kendrick: I could never to that like that

Derrick: Never say never

Kendrick: Okay

Derrick: How long have you two been together?

Kendrick: A week

Derrick: It's never to early if you truly love one another

Kendrick: ...

Derrick: How long have you known each other?

Kendrick: 3 years?

Destiny: 4 years

Kendrick: Really?

Destiny: I met you that same time I met Elijah

Kendrick: Oh yeah I remember! You came to his pool party

Destiny: Yeah

They all finished their lunches and Destiny took something for Shaniel

Destiny: I'm going in the car and call Shaniel while you pay or whatever

Kendrick: ok

Destiny calls Shaniel

Shaniel: hello

Destiny: Hey did you eat?

Shaniel: No not yet

Destiny: Well I have a burger and fries if you want it

Shaniel: Yes!

Destiny: *laughs* ok be there in ten

Kendrick gets in the car

Destiny: Where is Shondrica?

Kendrick: Going to have a one on one talk with her new fiencè

Destiny: Yoh reconnected with your mom and met your dad

Kendrick: yup it's great

They drove home. Gave Shaniel her food and Destiny and Kendrick went in the den to watch tv. They were flipping through the channels until they saw the news

Kendrick: Turn up the tv!

Tv: Elijah Smalls and Shawn Roberts have been arrested for the attempted murder of Kendrick Smalls

Destiny: Oh my god my dad was the one who tried to kill you

Kendrick: Wow I wounded how they found out?

Destiny: I think they were talking about it *rewinds*

Tv: These men would have gotten away if it wasn't for Ashley Roberts. This is what Ashley said to our reporters "I always knew my dad and Elijah was up to something. After the accident I heard my dad tell Elijah that he thinks he killed him he had a smile on his face when he said it. Elijah was smiling too and he said now all I have to do is kill Destiny".

Destiny: Ashley is so strong

Kendrick: Yeah she is I'm surprise she isn't scared

Destiny: yup

Kendrick: Well at least they are in jail

Destiny: Yeah. *smiles* kissed Kendrick on the check and then laid on his chest and fell asleep.
