"So let's start all over. Hello my name is Julian Dubois, I am 20 years old, a soon to be junior at the University of Callaghan and my major is Journalism. Your turn?" Julian says to me as he takes a sip from his coffee

"Well my name is Beckett Jiménez I'm 18 years old, a soon to be freshman also at the UC and my major is history and a bit of theatre and music." I say to him

"Ok next question why are you looking for a roommate?"

"I don't want to wake up two hours earlier every just to get to school also because my mom is pregnant and I don't want to be a bother."

"Do you have money problems?" Julian asks as he takes a bite from his bagel

"No, my stepdad has his own buisness" I say.

"Which is?" Julian says with an intrigued face

"The... uhm Muses hotels and restaurants" I say in a quiet voice as I take a sip from my frappe

"YOUR STEPDAD OWNS THE MUSES CHAIN!!!!!!!!!" He screams making me almost choke on my drink and earning us a few stares and whispers

"Jeez Julian could you be any louder?" I say in a harsh whisper

"Sorry Becky can I call you that?" He asks

"I'm alright with it but I prefer Beck or B.J."

"Okay I think I'll go with...Becky. You can call me Julian or JD. Sorry for earlier"

"It's alright I just don't like to talk about my family." I say looking at my coffee.

"Ok I completely understand. Anyways next question did you really have to scream at Levi?" He says to me while trying not laugh

"Ugh you saw that that was so embarrassing, I swear my clumsiness will be the death of me." I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks.

"Hon I can't believe you screamed at one of the hottest guys of our school." He says will laughing so hard he started to turn red.

"Wait a second he goes to the UC? This just keeps getting better and better."

"Beckett not only does he go to our school he plays football and he has like good grade in practically all his classes, he is like the dream guy every girl wishes for and some guys." Julian says with the biggest grin I have ever seen.

"Julian?"

"Yeah."

"You're starting to drool a little bit." I say as we exit starbucks and start heading to our cars

"Hahaha you are sooo hilarious. Anyway back to business, when can you move in?"

"How does Saturday sound? I'll bring the food this time."

"You have got a deal I will see you on Saturday at five o'clock?"

"Okay well, see you later, bye." I told him as I drove away.

Two days later

"Hey munchkin." I greet my friend Sawyer as I walk into the employee locker room. We work at one of Leo's diner themed restaurants as waitresses, we've known each since I was fifteen, she is my only friend and also is the only person I have told about my past.

"Hi Beckett, I'm great thanks for asking'. How 'bout you?" She asks me as I finish changing into my uniform and start putting my hair in a bun. Sawyer is a nurse in training, she's from Tennessee, and her dad is a very good friend of Leo from college. She is very cute with her big brown eyes, ginger straight hair and at the height of 4"11 people sometimes mistake her as a middle schooler even though she is a nineteen year old.

"I'm good too, everything almost went according to plan with Julian I move in on Saturday at 5:30 in the evening you think you could help me out?" I ask her as I put my apron on and start walking into the diner.

"I would love to help you but Laurel and Victoria are arriving that day at six so I have to pass but I'll go on Sunday okay? By the way, what do you mean by almost everything went according to plan?" she asks me with an amused face. I didn't want to tell her what happened when I was on my way to Julian's so I change the subject.

"Oh would you look at that, I got someone in my section, see you." I tell her as I walk to one of the booths that are next to the front door.

"You better tell me later Beckett." She says as she starts laughing and going to her section.

"Hello, welcome to muse's diner, I am ... oh it's you."
