It was a bad night. They were at Bobby's, another useless night of interrogation of the damn leviathan with no results. Dean sighed as he rubbed his eyes tiredly. He wished Cas was there, he would know what to do. He didn't even care Cas was the one who accidentally let the monsters out, he just wanted him back.

Dean locked the door, hearing Sam and Bobby start talking about new ways for some leviathan related shit. He pulled out his near empty duffel bag from under the bed. He might believe in this god stuff, but he believed in Cas.

Dean pulled out the angels trench coat. It still smelt like him. Dean put it on and breathed in the scent. He ignored the few warm tears that leaked from his eyes which were squeezed shut. He took in a shuddering breath of Cas and calmed.

"Cas," he whispered to the fabric. He could almost hear the wings shuffle as he would have appeared and Dean smiled slightly. "I miss you. Please come back." He breathed.

Emanuel was confused. He was sitting by the fire when he heard someone call him. He looked around but he was alone. Suddenly, he had appeared in a run down room. He looked at a man on the bed. 'Dean' a voice in the back of his head whispered. Dean? Suddenly hundreds of memories slammed back into him like a brick wall.

Cas looked at the normally strong, emotionless man who was breaking down in front of him in his trench coat. He frowned sadly.

Dean jumped as he felt the bed dip as pressure was put on the other side. He wiped furiously at his treacherous eyes.

"Sam?" He asked, his voice cracking. He didn't hear the door open.

Cas hugged him from behind on the bed. Dean recognized the familiar arms and scent and turned in the arms.

"Cas?" He asked, pretty sure he was dreaming.

"I'm sorry." Cas said, burying his shaggy hair into Deans shoulder.

They lay there, no other words needing to be said.
