"  Mmkay.  Be safe out there boy." The Major patted my back, " Thanks for savin' my ass.  Yer a good man. "

I smiled a fake smile, " Yessir. I will make sure that we Americans will live."   I lowered my tone.

He smiled, but a real one, that wanted to make you smile back, as he brushed past me, not saying another word.

" Grab yer weapons, men.  It's the brink of war." The General sounded serious.

" WHO ARE WE FIGHTING FOR?!" He yelled at us.

" THE U.S.A.! "  I yelled back with the other men that were on the F.L.

" WHO IS GOING TO WIN THIS WAR?!" He yelled at us, once again.

" THE U.S.A.! "  The men on the F.L. including me yelled again.

      Think again.

Think about a woman that has a beautiful daughter, but is divorced, leaving the woman with the child, with no money, no job, and has to stay at her sister's house.

That's my situation.   While my family is sitting at home, thinking about what the hell got into me, while I, Janet, am jumping out of a B- 27 army freaking airplane.

      Back to reality, Janet.

**

"  Bree!  C'mon boy, what the hell are ye doin'?!" I heard the General's voice.  It snapped me back from my thoughts.

" Sorry sir.  I don't know what got into me."

The General stared at me, as I just realized the most biggest mistake of my whole life....
