How It All Began (Third Person POV)

It had been another rough Monday. Nobody likes Monday's, they always hold some surprise in store that everyone but the teachers forgot about over the weekend. For example, as we follow this certain Sophomore class, you will understand.

Like at any school everyone had their own little groups. First we have the "Popular" group. The people may not have been actually popular, they were just well known for being involved in so much drama.

They were happily gossiping to each other about how Marley and Isaac had broken up because Christina and Isaac had kissed under the bleachers during the football game. Marley had told Christina this morning, through text of course, that she would "end her". Marley then received a text from Christina that said, "Oh please, how could a jealous little wimp like you so much as flick my forehead?" Long story short when they both arrived at school they promptly kept their distance and sent icy glares to each other, from behind the protection of their friends. However, every single 8th grader knew that before 3rd period they would be best friends again.

Our next group has a well known name. The "Jocks" were loudly arguing about what the score had been, who had made the most touchdowns, and didn't care at all about the 'Bleacher' incident. Jr, who is easily the tallest 8th grade boy, was saying, to anyone who would listen, that the reason they had lost was he didn't pass the ball quick enough to Isaac. Isaac then continued the little game by saying he should've run faster and it was nowhere near Jr's fault. The vain game of comparison went on, while we continue with the next group.

I suppose we could explain the next group as 'The Misfits Who Never Really Hang Out With A Certain Group'. Long name, I know but that's what they do. There's one boy, who's name will come up later I assume, he's great friends with our last true group. (We'll get to them in a minute)  He doesn't play football or basketball he just mills around and is known as a crazy, random 10th grader. Now don't let this description fool you. He's a really sweet, funny, guy. He would do anything to make someone smile and anytime you feel upset he's immediately there, trying to make you laugh.

Next, a brave, adventurous girl who's rather smart. She's willing to cuddle with snakes just for a dare or will most likely someday own a motorcycle. Besides that, she's really nice, hilarious, and extremely loyal to the boy in the above paragraph. They are quite possibly the cutest couple I've ever seen. Their names? We'll get to that later.

Our next entry in the 'Misfit' group is these two frenamies. They're both girls and are always either sharing gossip and rumors or bringing each other down and then laughing about it. One of them, at times, can be sweet and funny. The other one is never truly nice. I suppose one could describe them as those sweet and sour candy's you find at gas stations.

The last girl is more of a misfit than any of the others. She's always either reading or listening to music and sometimes at the same time. When she does talk to someone, it's rude and snippy, like she can't believe this "thing" dared to talk to her. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be mean to any of these kids, this is just how all of the opinions from 8th graders put together describe them.

This last group is something really special. They're all girls and I suspect they will all still be friends when they're old and gray. First we have the two girls who are considered the smartest in that group, by me anyway, they were always happy and ready to help. Next we have a quietly brilliant girl. She makes great grades and is kinda distant but she's a great person. The next two can be described as the fashonistas of the group. They always wear the coolest clothes or the most popular hairstyles. Next we have a quiet girl who only speaks up when needed, however if you need help with anything she's the one to go to. Our last two girls are fairly similar, they both enjoy the same bands, the same books, and neither of them are content with their lives. There's one book they really enjoy however, 'The Outsiders.'

I won't leave you on a cliffhanger here so just listen. This is how our story begins, with that one, single,  certain, book. How on one Monday, everything changes. How this 10th grade class learns to work together and to put it in better terms (and more possible ones) not hate each other.

On this chilly October morning the class is all walking to first period together. That's when the world turned upside down and everything went black.

Hey, guys! So, what do ya think? So, I'm sorry about the cliffhanger, I know I said I wouldn't do a cliffhanger but I guess I lied. Hey, maybe I'm related to Rick Riordan! If you don't know who that is: 1. Look him up and 2. Read his books. And then read my fanfics of his books! That's an option by the way, you guys don't have to, it would just be nice. Um, follow, vote, comment please! I think that's all, it most likely isn't but let's say it is. Stay Gold, Oreos!
