2: The Abduction

I stare down my hot cup of coffee and let the hot vapor reach my face. I just needed to feel awake right now. I yawn. Turn to check the time in my phone. It's only six in the morning, My first class starts at 8am.

I had another freaky dream last night. But it was a really... really scary one. There was a man now in my dream. And that man has stolen a kiss from me. My cheeks burn. I have never been kissed before and in my dream it felt real.

'Looks like I got much time to enjoy my coffee, but it's better to finish it off before it gets cold.' I said to myself and finished my cup.

I start recalling the dream I had. The dream felt so real. The dark room, the cold hard ground, the pain, and even the man's kiss felt real. I covered my face with both of my hands and try to shift the direction of my thoughts then my phone starts ringing. My other hand went for the phone while the other stayed covering half of my face.

It's Charmane.

'Hey...' I answered with a hoarse voice.

'Oh, Kate. I am so sorry about last night, I didn't wanna leave you at the bar, I swear I was gonna go back to take you with me but...oh you know...' she sighed.

'I know what..? Okay, you guys must have had sex at the back of his car. And he's so irresistable you just couldn't say NO to him and so you picked sex over our friendship, Right?' I made it obvious that what she did was stupid and wrong. It absolutely irritated me. Big time.

'Ugh, No. There was no sex involved what is wrong with you?' she denied. ' I work for him, he's my boss. And though I really wanna have sex with him-unfortunately, I am not his type. I have been inviting him out to that bar so we could try to get to know each other in...a much, much deeper way but that didn't happen and he made me do some research for him and promised to pay me double if i did it that night. And when I checked my phone to give you a call, it was already dead. I didn't have a charger with me.'

'Oh.' was the only thing that came out of my mind.

After Charmane's call I started cleaning off the table and washed the dishes. I took two books from the table and shove it in my tote bag. I walked out the kitchen passed through the den and unlocked the huge brown door, turned the knob, and pull the door open and saw a funny looking old man, wearing a black suit, and holding a bouquet of blue roses and a golden box of belgian chocolates. I raised an eyebrow and closed the door behind me and locked it with my key, I turned back again to see the old man still standing the same way I saw him seconds ago with a wide grin on his face.

'These are for you, Miss.' the old man held out the treats to me. I took a step sideward.

'W-who are they from? A-are those really for me?' I hesistantly asked.

The old man grinned and said 'Well, read the card.'

I apologise for keeping your friend from your company last night. Please accept the roses and chocolates I sent for you, I hope you like them.

I looked up at the old man carrying the stuff for me. I smiled slightly and took the keys from my pocket and went to the door of the house and unlocked it. I turned to the man and took the peace offerings of L. H. or in short, The handsome, Luke with the H. I left the door ajar. I released the bouquet of roses into the empty vase I got from the kitchen cabinet, I placed the box of sweets inside the refrigerator that's about my height.

I went for the door and started to lock it when I heard movements from behind me, I lowered my head and tried to get a peek over my shoulder. A few men, wearing black suit are behind me. I gripped the door handle and started to spring on my feet from where I was but one of the men was able to immediately cover my nose and mouth with a cloth that smells odd. As I struggled to be free from the man's hold of me, I saw another one of them opening the door of the limousine, I heard the old man started to speak about putting me inside the car then I blacked out.
