Chapter 27: Our Happy Family

I was blissfully sleeping in the arms of my perfect mate when all of a sudden loud shouts and screams filled the air, usually this would've scared the crap out of us but we are used to it. Rolling over I groaned loudly and tried to bury my face in Hunters chest but two small children were too busy jumping everywhere shouting at the top of their lungs.

"Mummy Mummy WAKE UP! Daaaad wakey wakey!" Argo was jumping on our legs his mop of brown hair moving wildly with each movement.

"It's our birthday you've got to wake up! I want cake and toys" Apollo said sitting on top of Hunters chest poking his face.

Both of us begrudgingly opened our eyes and began to get up, Hunter roared loudly and grabbed Apollo by his legs and threw him over his shoulder before running and scooping Argo up into his arm causing the boys to erupt into fits of giggles.

"That's it you monkeys I'm going to put you in a cold shower and burn all your presents mwuahahaha" Hunter ran out of the room holding Apollo and Argo hopefully going to get them dressed.

Laughing to myself I walked into the wardrobe to find some clothes to wear, settling for a black jersey pencil skirt, a tucked in white top and a thick tan belt around my waist. I put on a pair of chucks before quickly doing my makeup so I wouldn't keep the boys waiting, As I was sat at the vanity putting on my last swipe of mascara an old picture caught my eye it was of me, Hunter and the boys, we were both sat next to each other with Apollo and Argo resting in our arms. I was looking down at Argo in my arms and Hunter was smiling at me with pure adoration in his eyes, it was one of those perfect moments you see online always captioned 'the way he looks at her'. I was just thankful that someone (Leila) could capture the beautiful moment that I miss but everyone always seems to notice.

I jumped in surprise when I felt two broad arms drape over my shoulders and a head rest on top of mine, his low chuckle filled the room as I slapped his arm lightly in a jokingly way before snuggling into his warm arms.

"That's probably my favourite picture of you, the way you took to motherhood so fast was such a beautiful sight especially since I got you pregnant when we had been together for just over a year. I was in awe watching you look after our sons, how you managed to make it look so easy when I didn't even know how to change a nappy (diaper)." Hunters loving words made me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside causing my stomach to fill with butterflies.

"I can't believe they're 5 today, I feel so old." Hunter chuckled lightly and kissed me on the cheek before pulling me up from my seat at the vanity and into his arms.

"They're growing too fast soon they'll be fighting for alpha and having their own pups. I've blinked and it's all of a sudden been 5 years soon it'll be 20 then 50 then to when we are both really old and..." Hunter stopped my rant with a simple but passionate kiss.

"Stop panicking, I think you forget that we live a lot longer than your average human and werewolf for that matter. We have our whole lives ahead of us the average alpha/Luna lives for 300 years sometimes longer, why do you think my parents had so many of us." I looked up into his eyes thankful for his comforting words before I start to feel... Sick. Oh no.

I rushed to the bathroom just in time to spew the remains of yesterday's dinner inside of the toilet bowl, in no time Hunter was by my side holding my hair back.

"Well well well, it looks like number three is on the way. Let's keep it quiet until we visit the doctors it could just be stress but I'm hoping that it's a little girl in there" Hunter lifted me up and kissed me on the cheek, relief washed over me as I looked at the smile on his face, knowing he was excited about the pregnancy lifted a massive weight off my shoulders.

I brushed my teeth and cleaned the toilet washing away the traces of my morning sickness, I knew I was pregnant for the second time I did the test last week and just didn't tell Hunter. He always manages to find out my secrets before I can tell him... The sneaky git.

As I left the bathroom I saw that Hunter was sat on the bed texting. He was already dressed wearing a black shirt and a pair of dark washed jeans, damn he makes everything look sexy! He could be wearing socks and sandals and still look hot.

"Do I look okay?" I asked innocently as I did a twirl on the spot, I know that my butt looks great in this skirt. I don't want to brag but I've been doing my squats *winks*.

"You little tease, you know I love that skirt on you. I also know that you're wearing a thong underneath." He got up from the bed and starting to slowly stalk towards me lust evident in his eyes.

I winked at him and turned to leave the room but I was stopped by a muscular arm wrapping around my waist and drawing me into his chest. I looked up at him smugly whilst running my hands through his hair before dragging his lips down to my mouth for a passionate kiss, not bothering to ask for entrance he cups my butt with both hands and squeezed roughly causing me to gasp in surprise. As both of our tongues battled for dominance I felt him try and drag me towards the bed which is when I realised that it was going to far, when I attempted to break the kiss Hunter began to growl and grabbed my butt tightly. He's such a baby sometimes.

"Hunter I think you've forgotten that downstairs we have two very impatient 5 year olds who want their presents, also the family will be visiting soon. Do you really want Theo to walk in on us and see me naked?" Finally managing to break the kiss I convinced him to keep it in his pants.

"Fine. I'm going to go and take a cold shower, keep the boys busy I'll be down in a bit" he kissed me on the forehead before strutting off into the bathroom, I stood staring at him as he walked away for a man he has some serious ass I mean you could just... Damn hormones, STOP!

Shaking my head clear of any rude thoughts I began to walk down stairs, I instantly went straight into the games room to find Apollo sat on Argo's back with his arms pinned either side.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Come give me a hug you numpties"? Both of them sprung up from their positions and ran towards me crushing my legs with their tiny arms.

Falling back onto the sofa laughing they climbed onto the sofa and sat either side of me, but before being able to start their interrogation on what presents they're getting the door bell chimed loudly. I was literally saved by the bell.

As I left the room to answer the door Hunter ran past me to beat me to the door, but being the romantic gentleman he is he slapped my ass as he ran past... I'm so lucky, note the sarcasm. Smirking proudly he stood there waiting for me to catch up I took my place beside him as he snaked an arm round my waist.

"You ready for this to become a mad house" he tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and kissed my temple lightly.

"Bring it on"
