A shadows embrace

A shadows embrace is forever

Not caring how old or how young

It's cold and icy

Like a mid winter morn

A shadows embrace

Is not alive nor dead

And from it

Nothing heard or said

A shadows embrace

Lays lonely on the ground

And from it's owners soul

It is eternally bound

it takes the form

of its lonely host

nothing but a mimicry

and a haunting ghost

when the sun begins to set

and night begins to fall

the cold black creeps in

thats when the shadows rise again

only to fall again and again
