Survival: The Conference group

It's up to you now...

I was packing my things in my room.
I was leaving soon...
And, today was parents' night.

I went downstairs to tell my mom about it.
"Mom," she turned to face me, "yes, Katelyn? Anything wrong?" She asked.

"You do know it's parents' night this 6:00, and..."

"Yes, I do know. And, we're going to parents' night on 6, but after that we'll be leaving."

After that, I quickly went upstairs and went back to packing my things.

It was 5:30 already, and we were all ready to go.
We locked the doors and took a cab to school first. Then, we'll take another cab for the airport.

My mom shut the cab door and opened the one on my side, "You can go with me inside campus if you want..." I smiled, and went out the cab leaving my dad inside, just organizing things in his phone.

Mom went to my classroom, where all the other parents should also be. I took a video around school, since all the lights were on, of course.

I went to the gym to check the big scratch, it was really big. What could've caused this?
I looked around to find the micro-cam that he destroyed, still filming a video on my phone. It was on the ground, with wires flying around and the chips, destroyed.

I couldn't have noticed, but, I heard a shrill growling noise behind me.

Oh Gosh...

The creature was there, just there. With me.

I tried to find anything for defense, but, it was too late it plunged on me and--

After parents' night, I was finding Katelyn. Wherever she was, she would be just around campus. I checked everywhere for her, until I checked the gym. I saw a body laying down with not a single movement. I looked closer, until I knew, it was her. My eyes were flooding with tears. "Katelyn," all I could do was call the police and an ambulance, and cried for my baby girl...
