#8 Why Didn't You Tell Us

"How long have you known?" I ask Andy, my voice breaking a small bit. He sits up in the hospital bed, taking in a deep breath.

"Two months." He spoke, my heart broke even more at his words. How could he simply hide this from us!? His best friends!

"We'll get you the help you need." CC spoke softly.

I try to make sense of all this, how could Andy get a brain tumour? He's perfectly healthy...

"You heard the doctors, there isn't anything they can do, it's too far in, if they do operate, they'll kill me." Andy groaned. I frowned.

"What, so you don't want chemotherapy or anything? You're just going to let this cancer kill you?" I snap.

"Ashley, please respect my choices. If I don't want the chemotherapy, than its my choice."

"Andy, if you don't get the chemo, you won't have long." Kacie spoke, you could hear the pain in her voice. You could hear it in all of our voices. We were breaking.

"Then let it kill me." Andy says, laying down. "Leave me alone, please. I want to be alone." I stood up, storming from the room.

How could he not want help!? Why does he want to fucking die??

"Ashley!" Jake's voice spoke, I turned around, the tears threatened to spill from my eyes. "Where are you going?"

"He wants us to go, I'm going." I speak.

"They're discharging him later today, will you be home?"

"No." I sigh. "I'm out for the night." I say as I walk away from him.

All I need is alcohol right now... Hoping to wake up thinking this is all a fucked up dream.

"Mr Biersack, you're free to go." My doctor, Matthew, speaks. I nod my head, swinging my legs off the bed.
Jake picks up my bag, he is dropping me home as I'm not allowed to drive. I feel terrible that I didn't tell the boys sooner, about my cancer, I didn't think much of it to be honest, it all started when I started getting headaches and forgetting things. I thought it went away but during the show at Warped Tour, I just blacked out during the last song, I didn't even remember hitting the ground.

"Is Ashley home?" I ask softly as we leave the hospital car park.

"No, I don't know where he is, all he said was that he isn't home tonight." Jake speaks. I sigh heavily.

"He's probably gone to get wasted and wake up somewhere." I chuckle lightly.

We pull into the driveway of our home, I sigh. I'm going to miss this when I go, I'm going to miss everything about this house. All the memories, the time Jake and Jinxx were fighting over gummy bears, CC putting himself on fire with his straightener, when Jinxx introduced us to Kacie. All of these memories will fade with me...

Jake and I enter the house to hear the soft talking of CC and Jinxx. As we walked in, Jinxx stood to his feet.

"Where's Ashley?" He asks, confused.

"Out for the night." Jake speaks, i place my bags down near the dining table.

"Call him and tell him to get his arse here! I have an announcement!" He smiles softly, walking around and sitting next to CC again.

I pull my phone from my pocket, tapping on Ashley's contact name which is 'main man'.

I open my eyes to hear my phone ringing. I groan as I check the caller I.D, Andy... I lazily drag the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I speak, still half asleep.

"Ash, Jinxx wanted me to call to get you home, he has some announcement or something and wants us all there." Andy explains.

"Yeah, yeah I know what that's about, I'll be home soon." I speak, hanging up the phone before he could reply.

I stand to my feet, stretching my arms I feel someone hug me from behind. I turn quickly to see some whore in the bed with no clothes on....

Then it hits me, I got drunk and slept with some random whore... Fuck.
