Chapter 16 my light and a job

Midnight pov

I let the light consume the whole battlefield and us and I saw nothing after I guess she was my light and I didn't know it. But when I finally opened my eyes all the demons whore gone it must have been the bright heavenly light I made. But when I looked at Morghann she wasn't breathing so I hugged her tightly and she came back to life. "Thank god I thought I lost you." I touched her hair lightly and a tear round down my face. "I'm still mad at you, you joined there side and faked your death why?" she had tears in her eyes now and I wiped then off her face I felt so bad but it was for a good thing. "To keep all of you guys safe." I lowered my head but she picked it up "You don't need to anymore." Then she kissed me and hugged me then every angel came for a huge group hug. I felt so loved; I loved it but a few moments later we all came to be in front of the counsel they all looked happy for once like they had pride in their eyes. "Midnight I see your wings are white but your heart isn't why so?" I looked at my wings and forgot about me and Ashley's deal we had made if she had hurt one of my friends (which she did) I would get my wings back to white. "Sir I wish I liked heaven but I don't but then again I don't like hell either but I do love earth and my friends and my sisters I don't want to leave them." They all looked at me with aw and I looked at them with tears in my eyes gosh I was crying what the heck. "Are you sure you want to stay on earth and do nothing?" "Now I didn't say that. I want to become a helping angel." I had my wings fully extended out to show I was serious about this whole thing. "Aw Midnight staying on earth and being a helper will be very hard you know this right I don't want anything to happen to you, you already have a scar on you wing and that's bad cause I don't know if it will heal." My wings dropped to the floor and I gave them all puppy dog eyes just to see if they would change there minds about this so they all talked so quietly a pin could drop and the whole room would be able to hear it. "Fine here is a badge to show you did this and know what you are doing." I jumped up and down I was so happy and flew up to them and gave them a big hug and said my thanks to them.
