Chapter 3 : Getting ready

I tried to sleep but that didn't work that much, but in the end I worried to much and I fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of the door opening a little "mor-ning?" I didn't see anyone, then I looked down to find a grey with a white tummy cat walking up to me "oh, hello" I smiled and placed my hand out and she rubbed her face all over it "you must be . . ." she jumped on me and tucked in her arms and legs in so she looked like a cute little chicken "aw, you are very cute" I found a collar and smiled, my Aunty isn't bad at naming her cats but some of them had the weirdest names "your name is Yona, nice to meet you" she purred and I yawned "well, I can go to sleep a little longer . . ." I closed my eyes, and then I could hear someone chuckling "I am going back to sleep and you aren't going to change that" I heard the door open more and lots of meows "my kitten army, attack!" I sighed and opened my eyes slightly to find six kittens meowing at me and Yona, my eyes opened a bit more "ah, Ze cuteness is too much!" they were so cute just standing meowing at the bottom of the bed "your army is too strong" I found Aunty at the door smiling "their aren't really my army, the are Yona's" I found Yona still sitting on me, I smiled and slowly got up "alright then, I will bring them up with me and we shall all have a nap together" she smiled and walked up to my bed "no, you are going to have breakfast after this" I rolled my eyes while I gabbed the kittens "you sound like mum" I shivered but smiled at the same time. All the kittens were on the bed now and they where all playing around with each other, but one little white one was cuddling with Yona "aw, that sweet" I looked up to see Aunty smiling at the other kittens who where playing with her fingers "so, what are all their name Aunty?" she looked up and tried to get her hand back but . . . that wasn't working well "the one with Yona is Cotton, then these two not giving my hand back are Ryu the dark gray one and Haru the light gray one" I smiled at the two kittens while she was still trying to get her hand back "give Aunty back her hand you two" both of them let her hand go and tried to cover their heads with their paws "not bad, you were always good with animals" I smiled and blushed a little, then I found the other three sleeping on the end of the bed "and those three?" she turned around from her seat on the bed and smiled "the one in the middle with the lighting bolt on his back is Thunder, one on the left is Oni and the right is Bell" I looked over to Bell, I looked at her closely . . . her eyes were a really light blue, she looked even blind "yeah she is, sadly she was born with it" I felt so sorry for her, I placed my hand in front of Bell's face and she sniffed it and rubbed her face all over it. I grabbed her gently by the body and she started to meow "Bell, I'm not going to hurt you . . . calm down" I stroked her nose and she started to calm down, I looked to Aunty and smiled, my stomach started to make noises that made all the kittens freak out "I need food!" I blushed while Aunty laughed her head off "alright, you have had your fun. But I need some food!" she smiled and I got out of bed and started to walk to the kitchen, Bell still in my arms but she was happy in my arms.

we got to the kitchen, I placed Bell down with her brothers and sisters . . . they all left her but Thunder "aw, big brother love" Thunder helped Bell over to her food while I sat down at the table "so, what are you doing today?" she smirked while placing some bacon and eggs in the sizzling pan that sent a shiver up my spine "taking you to the guild, and then I am going to work" I sighed and walked over to the kettle and popped it on and got a cup out "make that two please" I smiled a little while I got a second cup for Aunty "tea or coffee?" she flipped the eggs and bacon into two plates, while the kettle finished boiling "coffee please, with a splash of milk please" I nodded and opened the coffee and tea cabinet, I grabbed the coffee and I tried to choose a tea for me "it's to hard to choose!" I sighed while Aunty started to laugh "I got some more peach if you want" my eyes lit up as I was trying to find it, then I found it "yay, I haven't had this in a really long time" I grabbed the tea strainer, placed the tea leafs in the strainer and poured the hot water in, then I made her coffee "wait, you don't want sugar?" she rolled her eyes at me "I'm already sweet enough!" we both laughed as we both finished are small tasks for breakfast and sat at the table and started to eat "alright, so after this I need a shower" I forked a piece of bacon in my mouth and chewed "and brush your teeth as well" she had already finished eating and sipped her coffee, then her eyes lit up and smiled "you make some of the best coffee my dear" I smiled while finishing off my breakfast. I grabbed my plate and Aunty's while she was reading the news paper "anything new in the paper?" she shrugged her shoulder but smiled "the guild has, yet again destroyed a building outside of Magnolia" I smiled and laughed, nothing had changed over ten years of leaving this place "alright I have finished the dish's, I'm going to take a shower now" she nodded while I walked up stairs.

I got to my room and unpacked some clothes for today 'dam, today is the day' I sighed while I grabbed a towel and went into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and waited for the water to warm up, then I hopped in and started to clean myself.

I finished and got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself and walked into my room and sat on the bed, I started to freak out because this would be a big day for me. I calmed down a little and dried myself off and slipped some underwear on (you know underwear and a bra) and picked up my clothes.

I finished getting dressed and found a massive mirror to stand in front of "nice, and not to shabby" I twirled around and smiled, I wore a light shirt with nice patterning around the bottom and neck area that hung just on my shoulders and black shorts at went mid-way up my thighs with two leather belts that crossed each other on my hips, then a pair of brown leather boots that went half way up my shin's and to finish it off I tied my leather holder on my right thigh just under my shorts that held my  retractable metal staff "you look like a bad ass" I turned to find Aunty Ivory looked at my outfit "it's not bad?" she walked up and grabbed my shoulders while I looked in the mirror again "not bad at all, but you need to do your hair" I smiled and nodded. I walked into my bath room, grabbed my hair brush and did my hair with two braids that finished as a ponytail and left my bangs out, I quickly brushed my teeth and walked back to the mirror "perfect, just a finishing touch". Aunty grabbed out something and tied it around my neck"aw, thanks Aunty!" I smiled at the talisman that she gave to me, it had a lovely glow to it that made me smile "alright, time to go!" We both smiled while we walked out of the house and Aunty locked the house up "lets go!".

The nerves were gone . . . for now
