It was another usual morning. I was getting ready to go to school. Being a high school student isn't easy, you have to study, study and study. You basically have to study. You have to go to school. Help out your mum at home. Clean the house. Hear your mum's nagging. Fight with your brothers and sisters. Take care of your siblings. And the main work is to study. Just why do we have to study? Technically everyone says that studying is very important and all. But, where's the fun in it? SIGH. I woke up with messy hair as usual. I mean come on, not everyone gets a good hair day every single day right? Ransacking my closet, I chose the cleanest crop top i could find along with a pair of skinny jeans. Brushed my hair for about 5 seconds, took a sneak at the mirror to check my final look and rushed downstairs. The clock was already showing 7.30
7.30.
SCHOOL STARTS AT 7.45!
What am I doing? Grabbing a piece of toast on the table, I rushed out and ran all the way to school. I can't be late again. I don't want to face Mr.Donghae in detention. I've already broke the record of being late for 2 straight weeks. My mum's gonna kill me if she knows I'm late again. Running to school isn't one of the best thing you could do. With my bag dropping from my shoulders, my hair which is out of style and the toast that is about to fall from my hands. As i stepped foot on school ground, i was relieved to see many students walking in. However, not surprisingly, I was late again. Detention for me again, I guess. During lunch, I headed towards the cafeteria with my besties, Yura and Bora to grab some lunch. Lining up just to get a plate for lunch is already making me so impatient. We waited in line for about 10 minutes just to get lunch and sat down at an empty table. As i slurped my drink and munched my burger, a boy sat at our table out of nowhere.
"Excuse me, dude. Why are you sitting here? " Bora asked.
"Well, my girlfriend's here. Why can't I sit with her?" He replied with a laugh.
"Girlfriend?" the three of us exclaimed and looked at each other, confused.
WHO IS HIS GIRLFRIEND? HE MUST BE JOKING.
"Go away dude. You must have mistaken one of us for your girlfriend." Yura laughed.
We continued eating our meal but he didn't leave. He remained at his seat and chuckled
"No, I didn't. She's my girlfriend. Yeri. Her. How would I not be able to recognise my girlfriend?" he answered.
"I'm not your girlfriend. I don't even know you." I said, feeling disgusted.
He laughed and then boasted proudly " Well, I'm Bobby. The popular guy in school. The guy every girl loves and desires. And I like you..."
I was speechless. Why would a popular guy in school like me? Plus, I don't even know him. What should I do? What should I say? "Umm... firstly I don't even know who you are and I'm not your girlfriend." I mumbled. I took my lunch plate and went away while Yura and Bora followed. We went to the library in school to chill out. Bora and Yura questioned me whether he was actually my boyfriend. Without hesitating, I immediately replied with a big NO but they wouldn't believe me and suspected that I was lying and had a fight with my "boyfriend".
JUST WHAT IS GOING ON? BOYFRIEND? I DONT EVEN KNOW HIM.
