I should have stayed away. I really really should have left well enough alone....

I slammed my locker door shut and leaned foreward, resting my tanned ivory head on the ice cold metal. I sniffed as my blonde curls fell in my eyes and cradled my face at all angles (by no means was it short). I was growing it out to donate to Locks of Love for my Mom and Grandma who had both aquired stage two, and stage three breast cancer. My hair was now almost twenty inches.
"Ello love!" A feminine voice sangin a horrible british accent. I cringed, and turned around. Short and proud, there she stood. My best friend Ali Burress. She shot me a sweet smile and I couldn't help mut laugh and shake my head shamefully.
"Why do I even waste my time with you?" I pondered sarcastically. Her sea shell pink lips parted and she stared at me in fake hurt and shock. She snapped her mouth shut and pouted, her pale ivory hand pushing gorgeous locks of long deep ginger red hair behind her shoulder. She was growing it out for locks of love, too.
"Awe, boo. And to think I was gonna-oh nevermind." She trailed off, turning on her heel and stalking off to her second period class. I sighed and let my hands drift downward and explore the fabric of my pale blue top with key holed shoulders, hugged my curves loosely, and smoothed out my white skinny jeans.
I stared at the ground for a moment, waiting for Ali to perhaps come back and fall on her knees, begging me to make me, make her, tell me. Confusing much, eh?
Eventually the tardy bell for class rang and my I pursed my lips. She didn't cave, and I actually wanted to know this information that she withheld from me.
I kicked the lower set of lockers in defeat, and scuffed the ground with my Achilles Heel sandals and picked up my chemistry book off the floor. I begin to let my thoughts run rampid, as I stalked off to my next class.
I was about to give Ali HELL if she didn't tell me soon...

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaassseeee!" I drawed out, the curiosity killing me. It's lunch time. She's never gine this long without telling me something. We've been bestfriends for almost six years, we know everything about each other, excluding the fact that I have never been in her house. Or met her family, besides her mom. We always have sleepovers at my house.
"No." She said simply, braiding the noodles around her fork. "You have offended my honor." Her peircing hazel eyes with multicolored sparks bore through mine. I have been asking her all day. And she hasn't caved. Not ONCE.
I scoffed, raising a perfect arched eyebrow in dry sarcasm. "I'm not apologizing." I retorted. She shrugged and continued playing with her food.
"Then I'm not telling."
I let out and avid groan and slammed my head against the hard table. Ouch. That hurt a little more than I had planned. I heard someone sit down at our table and instinctively new it was Connor, followed by Mel. Connor's gay, and Meloid isn't as close as me and Ali are, but we're still very close.
"Ooo careful! Self damage like that is known to kill brain cells!" Connor winked. His bright green eyes drifted behind my shoulder and rimmed with lust instantaneously. "Oh God, I want me a jock soooo bad!" He moaned. Mel patted his broad shoulder reassuringly and gave him a sweet smile.
"Don't worry. One day they'll come to their senses." She focused back to her, er, I'm not real sure what was on the menu for lunch today, but my personal opinion is a student pissed off a lunch lady and she decided to ruin everyone's appetite for lunch.
"That looks like shit." I announced voicing my opinion, scrunching my nose in absolute disgust.
"Ha." Mel said dryly, pushing her tray further away from her. "You're very opinionated."
"Oh Jake. I really really want Jake." Connor said licking his lips lasciviously. Then he proceeded to hang his head in shame and frustration. It was obvious he was still stuck on wanting a jock. If you bring up Jake Wheeler, He. Goes. NUTS. He's had a crush on Jake ever since he admitted to us he was gay, back in the 8th Grade.
"I try." I sarcastically said, responding to Mel's comment. She winked and I chuckled. I glanced back over at Ali and fell into my previous mood all over again. "Please?" I tried, once again. She sighed and threw her fork down, with such force, that it bounced off her plate, and landed on the table behind us. A few protestant groans emitted from that direction.
"I've told you my conditions." She stated calmly, keeping a poker face. I squinted my eyes and pursed my lips.
"Tell me."
"Hey! Did you guys hear about those three missing women? Amanda Berry? Yeah they were found this morning!!!" She tried changing the subject. This is not possible!!! How has she not caved yet!?
"Whoa, what's going on here?" Mel asked confused. "What did we miss?"
"Nothing." Ali answered quickly. I frowned and pointed and accusing finger at her.
"Ali's withholding valuable information!" I whined. Mel flinched and a puzzled look crossed her face.
"About what?"
"THAT'S WHAT I'M TRYING TO FIND OUT!!" I cried out. I got a lot of weird looks but responded with casually blowing a raspberry.
"Childish much?" Ali muttered under her breath. I gave her a sour look, before softening my features and staring earnestly at her.
"Ali?" I whispered.
"Yeah?" She said, looking up from her food. I took in a deep breath and she started to smirk.
"I-" I stopped myself and smirked. "Tell me."
