Niall's P.O.V.

I woke up from my doze, unable to sleep any longer. I looked over at the clock and read 4:05 a.m. then over at the empty spot next to me. "Delilah?" I called. No answer. But I heard little noises coming from the bathroom, so I got up to investigate. I opened the door and switched the light on, and much to my surprise Delilah was huddled in a blanket in the corner of the room.. crying. "Delilah? Delilah! Why are you crying?" I asked frantically, pulling her head against my chest and engulfing her in my arms. "I j-just,  I don't w-want to leave y-you." she stuttered,  her breathe catching. " I know baby, I know. I don't want to leave you either." I wishpered soothingly. After a few minutes of us rocking back and forth she calmed down and pulled away, looking down. I put my finger under her chin and lifted her head up to look at me. "Look at me princess. It will be okay, I promise. I love you." I said pulling her into my arms and putting my cheek on the top of her hair. "I swear everything will be okay." I muttered, as she nuzzled into my chest. "I love you too Niall, forever." she mumbled, before beginning to snore lightly. I carefully moved her and picked her up bridal style, carrying her to the bed. I got in beside her, and put my arm around her waist and pulled her close. I nuzzled my face into her neck and just held her like I would never see her again, which after today I wouldn't for a very long time.

Delilah's P.O.V.

I woke up to my alarm blaring, startling me awake and making me jump. I felt Niall's arm tighten around me, as he reached over me and hit the snooze button. I rolled over after checking the clock that said 6:00 a.m. and just stared at him, trying to memorize every inch of his face, even though I already knew it better than the back of my own hand. I looked into his deep blue eyes, then trailed my eyes down his jawline, and up to his messy bedhead, then at the contoures of his nose, then finally his lips. I brought my hand up and put my fingers on his lips, letting them linger for a moment as I shut my eyes. I opened my eyes to see his closed, and a fresh tear trailing down his cheek. I moved my thumb and wiped it away, pressing my lips into a thin line. He oped his eyes and then leaned over, pressing his lips to mine softly. It was a sweet kiss, not a passion filled one. This kiss was full of love, and I felt it in my bones. After a few minutes I pulled back and sighed. "I have to finish packing..." I wishpered. He nodded and I rolled out of bed, walking into the bathroom to fix myself. Since I was going to be on a plane for hours, I decided to put on a pair of old sweats and one of Niall's sweatshirts. My hair was already in a messy bun so I just left it and dabbed a little concealer on the shadows under my eyes, after wiping off my smudged makeup from crying last night. Or this morning? Whatever, you know what I mean. I put the makeup and my pajamas from last night in my little duffel bag along with all of my chargers. I took the duffel into my room and dropped it on the floor. Niall was laying in bed with his head under a pillow. I shook my head and looked at the clock. It said 7:13 a.m. That meant my mom and little sister would be here in about 2 hours to say goodbye and then Niall would take me to the airport at 10, because my flight left at 11:00. I walked over to my now empty closet- except for Niall's clothes- and grabbed the pair of black flip flops I left out. I walked over to the bed and sat down, rubbing Niall's bare back. "Sweetheart? I need you to help me carry my bags to the car." I said softly. He sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He rolled out of bed as I put my flip flops on. He slipped on his Adidas and grabbed my 2 huge suitcases, leaving me to grab my duffel and my guitar. I sighed as I walked down the stairs of my apartment, dreading getting on that plane in a few hours. I walked out to the car and threw my duffel in the trunk and put my guitar, Hanley, in the backseat. It was just a regular acoustic, but covered with grafitti from me and Niall. Lyrics, love notes, and inspirational quotes making up most of what was written. Niall shut the trunk and grabbed my hand, scurrying inside before any neighbors came out and saw him shirtless. When we got inside he stopped and spun to face me. "Close your eyes." he told me softly. I did as I was told and he grabbed my hand, guiding me to what I guessed was the living room. He sat me down on the couch and there was a noise of the linen closet opening and being shut. "Open your eyes." he said. I did as I was told and he was in front of me, holding out a small box wrapped in bright blue metallic wrapping paper. "What is it?" I asked stupidly. He smirked and said, "Well open it and you'll find out." I took it from him and slowly unwrapped the little box, and took of the smooth white lid off. I gasped. "Niall.. What-" I got cut off by him saying "Before you say anything, yes its my grandmothers favorite ring. She passed it down to me to give to you, and no one else. She really has- had a liking for you." he said with a pained expression. "But I added something. Look on the inside of the ring." he said excitedly. I looked at ring, trying to find what he did. When I finally found it, I grinned. It was a little infinity sign, right under where the colorful jeweled flower was placed. I looked up and saw Niall, sitting there with his guitar. He wasn't paying attention, so when I tackled him into a bone crushing hug he jumped and we fell backwards, somehow miraculously sparing the guitar he had named Riot. "Thank you." I said, happy crying, "You're very welcome, princess." he grinned. "So um, could you sit back on the couch? I have one more thing to do." he asked laughing. I nodded and complied, crossing my legs under me. He tuned his guitar, cleared his throat, and sang me a song that was pretty appropriate for the situation we were in.
