MARAJAW NA ADLAW, KA ISLA!

Before you turn the next page, I just want to say this straight from my heart.

I am not perfect when it comes to grammar-far from it, actually. I write from the heart more than from the rules, so please bear with me if things aren't always polished or precise.

I also chose to write this in Taglish, but I will put some sinurigaonon words in order not to erase the identity of my book. It's not that one is better than the other-it's simply that Taglish is the language that feels most like me, the one that flows easiest from my mind to my fingers, the one that lets me speak to you exactly as I am. It's the voice that carries my truest thoughts, and I hope you'll meet me right here in this space.

Most of all-please read this responsibly. These words hold pieces of real feelings, quiet struggles, and fragile truths. Take what resonates with you, leave what doesn't, and remember: this story is a friend, not a guidebook. It shows you how hard choices can feel-it does not tell you how to make them. Be gentle with yourself as you read, and be kind to the characters, too.

Thank you for being here, for giving my words a chance even when they aren't perfect. This story is ours now.

This is my first book for IAO SERIES. I hope you'll tour SIARGAO ISLAND with me.

With love,
Rapphewrights
