Nights at nanba prison were about what you'd expect, corridors filled with the sound of inmates snoring and guards walking around the halls doing their rounds.

Some people slept easier than others and then there were those who didn't sleep at all Jyugo was one of the few who simply couldn't sleep, he tossed and turned trying to find some sort of a comfortable sleeping position feeling more restless with each movement,

Jyugo was used to not getting many hours of sleep but he'd been running on only around three hours of sleep for the past four days and he was getting sick of the tired yet fulling awake feeling he would get every few weeks.

Jyugo sighed as he got up from his futon which was located furthest from his cellmates on the right side of the cell they all occupied, somehow Uno, Rock and Nico had somehow managed to be in a sort of cuddle pile located in the middle of the room.

Nico was in the middle of the group giggling into his blanket, Rock was on his right mouth wide open and snoring loudly with his arms spread out above his head and lastly Uno was located on the Left grinding his teeth with some sort of night mask on.

Jyugo looked at them with a small smile as much as his cellmates loud sleeping habits, he wouldn't really change the situation especially since over time their habits have become a strange form of comfort, reminding him that they are nearby 'Its different' Jyugo thought, Jyugo slowly sat and leaned against the cool cell wall, taking a deep breath as he closed his eyes, 'three years ago this would have been different' Jyugo

thought as he remembered how he used to sleep or try to sleep before he went to jail.

A simple room or warehouse, sometimes so quiet a ringing sound would go off in his ears or so loud due to the area, city streets, people, traffic all of this was normal but during those nights of silence there was no noise at all, not even with the only two adults in his life, they both slept quietly, to the point where if one didn't look to check you

could assume they were dead, Rokudo and Mikazuki, the two prominent adults in Jyugo's life for the first thirteen years of his life. Rokudo, his father, a tall well built man of few words, a bland facial expression and little to no reaction, black short shaggy hair, slightly grey patches of skin covered in stitches,

with the same color changing eyes as his own with his inmate number tattooed on his left scaler; Jyugo found out years latter a tattoo that detailed in an eye was not normal.

Mikazuki, a man he sometimes called his godfather, a man of average height with a well built yet slender body, he was a man of few words just like his father, with light skin, slightly messy yet long blond hair with crimson eyes that Jyugo always felt could pierce anyone's soul; Jyugo did his best to never piss him off.

Rokudo and Mikazuki were similar and yet completely different, both quiet and spoke bluntly and yet how they both approached life and how they treated Jyugo was different in many ways, and yet they both worked well in an odd way, Rokudo would wander off and Mikazuki would chase him down which usually resulted in something happening and Jyugo would be behind them watching, sometimes he would wander off with Rokudo which sometimes annoyed Mikazuki and yet he seemed just bored at the same time, while always claiming "You could try and hide on the other side of the county and

he would still manage to find them".

Jyugo opened his eyes as he sighed, it had been a while since he had thought about either one of these men despite the role they played in his life.

Jyugo once again looked at his cellmates, his cellmates had always been more

outwardly with their emotions and physical affection, piles like the one they created now weren't a very rare sight in their cell and sometimes just kinda accrued since they all moved or acted differently in their sleep and with Rock and Nico being the two who sleep heavier than Uno and Jyugo.
