You met Martin back when he was still a trainee, all loud, full of energy and impossible to ignore. While most trainees kept their heads down, Martin had this natural brightness about him. He laughed easily, talked to everyone, and somehow managed to fill every hallway he walked through with noise and warmth.

At first, you found him exhausting or at least that's what you told yourself. He was always calling out "Sunbaenim!" with that wide grin, waving a little too enthusiastically, or showing up outside your practice room to ask something about performing. But over time, you realized he wasn't trying to impress anyone. That was just who he was.

He had this way of making people comfortable, even when he was nervous himself. When he talked about music, his words came out fast like his thoughts couldn't keep up with his excitement. He'd show you bits of songs he was working on — messy demos, half-written lyrics and then grin sheepishly as if already apologizing for their flaws.
