I also saw your darker side when you couldn't let go of the past; it kept haunting you. I was there with you while you faced all that. I knew there wasn't much I could do, but I know that just being there helped.
These memories remind me why I'm doing all this. So much has changed between us since you became king; the weight of that crown has changed you. I don't know why, but I thought everything would be fine after we defeated Sap, but things turned out differently. You'd show everyone a smile even when you didn't feel it anymore. I realized it was too late when I saw you there; in that moment, I knew it was too late.
Parrot, you told me that everyone deserves help and that you'd do anything to make that a reality, but what about *you*? You gave everything to others without thinking of yourself, and I didn't realize my best friend was slowly destroying himself for the sake of others.
I left because I wanted you to follow me. I wanted you, for once, after all this time, to see this not as an obligation but as your own choice. Parrot, I don't want you to feel trapped; I want you to do this just for yourself.
