Brooklyn wasn't the safest place recently, there were several reports of people missing or sudden deaths that couldnt be predicted at all. There was no patterns in timing, yet police noticed that found victims always had deep bite marks on their neck or temples. That's why the killer was called "The Vampire from Bensonhurst".
The police districts were tired. The killers DNA wasn't registered in the system, it was truly a pain in the ass.
Especially for Zion.
He was a police officer who was always sent for patrols when there was a next death incident. He hated it. The first few times were quite alright, even if he hated the smell of flesh and sight of guts spilling out, it was bearable. He wasn't exacly a sensitive kind of person, besides, you can get used to it.
But after some time, he was annoyed. Not only by seeing the injured corpses, but also by the fact that the killer just roams the city, being able to attack innocent people of Brooklyn.
One night, Zion was woken up by a phone call from work. He opened his eyes, still sleepy, already knowing what's awaiting him. He picked up.
- Zion, somethin' wierd happenin' at the cementery. The gravedigger reported. Come to work quick, we gotta check that shit out - His co-worker said, also quite frustrated.
- Mkay' ill be there in ten - the brunette assured, then hung up and sighed.
"Time to get up" he thought to himself.
He got dresses quickly, got into his car and started it, then drove away.
The radio was annoying today. Playing one of these dumb remixes. He hated them. At least it's not this AI slop he despised the most. He should buy an USB stick to finally listen to some good music while driving. Zion is too lazy to download all the songs onto his laptop though.
A while later, four policemen got to the cementery. They didn't expect anything wierd here though, they thought that maybe the gravedigger has some kind of hallucinations since it's dark, or maybe some old lady broke into the cementery to weep over her long dead husband.
Zion walked over the crunchy leaves. His eyes wandered over to a dug up grave. The corpse was already mauled, bloody and bitten. It seemed as if a wolf tried to eat it.
Zion and his co-workers looked towards a nearby bush. There was someone hiding. Something hiding. They walked up to the bush and before they could inspect it, the perpetrator bit into one of Zions workmates wrist harshly.
Zions eyes widened. He attempted to pull his friend away from the killer, when he realized it's to no use, he pulled out his taser with a heavy sigh.

- Im gonna need your name and surname - Zion stated. He was sitting at the police precint at a desk, writing information into the database.
- Dowon Okayama - he responded after a bit of thought. Zion typed the info into the file on the computer. The tall brunette man stood up and thrown some photos onto the desk.
- Do you know what's this? - he asked annoyed. Those were pictures of the bites that the victim beared.
- Mhh... Yep, thats mine - Dowon admit quickly. He knew theres no way getting out of this, he might as well go along with the policemans plans.
- You think that's funny, huh? Open your mouth - Zion demanded, walking up to the criminal as the man in handcuffs parted his lips. He felt the police officers thumb on his lower lip, inspecting Dowons fangs.
The "vampire from Bensonhurst" stared into Zions dark irises, then looked away in some way of embarrasment.
- Ain't gonna bite me, aye? - the officer chuckled
- Ya done? - Dowon said barely understandably before biting down gently on Zions thumb and smirking before turning his head away.
The policeman sat by his computer again - So, Dowon Okayama... Im gonna need your birth date
- Can't remember. I think its november fourteenth, nineteen twenty.
Zion gave the man a dirty look - In mood for jokes, hm? Wheres your ID, mr Dowon? - he asked mockingly, then started going through Dowons black messenger bag. He pulled out the mans wallet and went through it. There was nothing other than his ID and a five dollar bill.
Zion looked at the date on the ID. November fourteenth, nineteen twenty.
- What the fuck? - The brunette muttered, leaning back in his chair, ID still in hand - Don't tell me you're using a fake ID
- Are you serious? If I wanted a fake ID, I wouldnt put a year like that on it - Dowon chuckled, stating the obvious.
Zion stood up and left the room, heading to his boss to discuss the issue.
