"Are you done, reign?" someone ask as they knock on the door.
I apply my pink lipstick as a final touch completing my look before heading off to the door and opening it. Outside, a boy who looks so much like me is waiting.
Of course he looks like me, he's my twin after all.
I greeted him with a smile. "Good morning, oli. I'm done, let's go?"
He smiled at me too and kinuha ang bag ko. "Tara"
As we walk downstairs, a garden of roses can be seen outside sa may left side ng house namin. Mommy is mahilig kasi sa roses kaya nag tanim siya ng marami sa garden. While a pool naman, can be seen on the right side ng house.
It's also very noticeable that our maid is busy because mom ask them to change the arrangement here sa baba and mag linis na rin since bibisita later ang relatives namin.
Palagi silang pumupunta dito, if not them-then kami ang nag vi-visit sa house nila. I grew up being close with them kasi especially with my cousins.
As the youngest, para akong princess everytime I'm with them.
They always protect me. Kaya I want to be with them all the time at the same time I want to stand and fight on my own. I want to show them that I can handle myself.
I'm always praying that time will come but it's so tagal na and wala pa ring nangyayari. When it is happening ba? I want to show them already.
I feel so annoyed everytime I think about it. I mean I love their protection but... sometimes it's kind of parang like out of the line? Basta ganon.
Napa pout tuloy ako.
I heard oli laughing.
"Why are you pouting?" he ask
I shake my head "It's nothing"
He looks at me, judging-like I am lying to his face.
Well... I am lying but still he can't look at me like that. He is my twin kaya he shouldn't suspect me easily like that you know.
Lalo tuloy nag busangot? Nga ba yon? Basta they always say it too me kapag kinukulit nila ako.
When he notice my face he laugh and then hinawakan ang lips ko and stretch it to form smile. I slap his hands making him laugh more.
"Okay okay" he said putting his arms on air like he is sumusuko sa police. "Titigil na nga, come on baka ma late tayo niyan" Oli continued
We ride on a car on the way to school. 2 months more and were graduating from grade 12 na, a little more and were college na. Were gonna catch up with them soon.
Quiet lang kami inside the car, both busy sa phone. Malapit na kami then a message pop up on my phone.
From Violet:
Hi babe, just arrive. Saan ka na?
A message from violet, my bestfriend. She loves calling me various nicknames. Kahapon love and now babe. I laugh remembering that someone yesterday who thought that we are a couple.
"What are you laughing about?"
My attention shifted to Oli when he suddenly ask me that.
"Just Violet" saying that answer I know he already knows that I am talking to her.
He brows furrowed a little but I know na agad kung ano ang iniisip niya.
"What is your problem with violet ba ha?" I ask impatiently. Instead of answering he just shook his head.
He always give me that expression everytime I talk about her kasi or whenever I'm with her. Though nag sasama naman sila sa isang place but they rarely talk to each other. To the point that I started thinking na parang they have a secret animosity with each other. But everytime na nag a-ask ako sa kanila they deny it naman.
So nakakainis.
Kung pwede ko lang sila ipag bangga eh or like lock them inside the same room so that they can talk you know. I hate it kasi kapag hindi nagkakasundo ang mga cherished person ko.
To Violet:
Just arrive po, omw na sa room.
After typing I hit send and put the phone inside my bag. Before ako kumapit sa arms ni Oli. Well, he just let me do what I want naman eh.
We headed straight to my classroom muna, palagi akong hinahatid ni Oli before he head to his class. Different kasi ang strand namin eh, I am an ABM student while he's in STEM.
Being twins we have the same likes and dislikes in many things as well as our hobby. He likes drawing while I enjoy ballet. After graduating talaga I am thinking If I should continue my study or just focused ballet. But I can balanced it naman.
"Violet!" I greeted her as soon as she walks towards me, she's waiting outside our room pala.
Niyakap ko siya and sa kanya na me nag kapit, Oli's on our back tailing us. When we arrive at our room he just put my bag on my chairs and said goodbye na sa akin tapos he just nodded to Violet while she gives him a polite smile.
Somethings missing... I scanned our room and saw an empty chair.
He's not here. Where is he?
Violet seems to notice the sudden change on my expression. That she started searching the room too, looking for something that might affected me. When she realize something, she shifted her attention to me.
"Did he not tell you that he won't be here today? I heard nag pasa raw ng excuse letter si Nick" she said informing me.
What excuse letter?
He didn't tell me anything though. My God, he's so lagot sa akin. This is so nakakatampo. He told me pa naman that i-inform niya ako sa lahat ng bagay because he is my bff tapos ganan?
How dare he? Hmp, I won't pansin him na.
"Kayong dalawa talaga, I think he will tell you naman but nauna lang talaga ang excuse letter because baka biglaan lang din ang pag absent niya, right?" Violet, assuring me or something like that.
I nodded at her and instead focuses in our class.
"Before we start I will be giving the result of our last quiz. Let's congrats and give a round of applause to miss Olivia Loreign Vergara for having a perfect score"
Once I heard my name I immediately stand to receive my paper, as I walk infront many of my classmates clap and said their congratulations to me. Well, this is not the first time that it happened but mostly talaga it's either me or violet ang mag pe-perfect score. Except kay Nick, he is not the academic type but the sporty one. Being the captain and MVP ng school team namin.
That's why many called us the power circle daw. I didn't know nga ang about diyan eh, nalaman ko lang because one of my classmate chiki it to me.
Anyways, speaking of Nick. He calls me while nasa class pala but I couldn't answer kasi naka silent ang phone ko. I just find out when I open my phone.
I was just about to turn it off when he calls again.
